Yves Saint Laurent

If you are craving a new biopic based on a fashion legend, then you’ll probably find this little beautiful sneak peek of the movie ‘Yves Saint Laurent’ just as teasing as me. The movie, directed by Jalil Lespert, has the backing of Pierre Berge, Yves partner in both life and business, and will release in theatres in January 2014.

I’m not the one who shy away from gender-mix and matches and just absolutely love Saint Lauren’s Spring 2013 campaign for men. These beautiful shots are photographed by Hedi Slimane himself, and modelled by Dutch beauty Saskia de Brauw, in parhaps what Slimane does the best, tailored skinny for men!

Fancy a Slimane?

Well I do, and wouldn’t have minded having this beauty in my arms when I head for the Drapers Awards tonight. If you haven’t already seen the accessories to go with Saint Laurent Paris’s SS13 sharp-rockn’roll-Californian-wiiiiide-brimmed-hat silhouettes, then Hedi Slimane’s first line of  accessories for Saint Laurent is now ready for pre-order here. This beauty is yours for £735.

Clear skies

Sorry for bad posting the last couple of days, but I’ve had family visiting and wanted to soak up my time with them. Being a “tourist guide” and having to walk countless miles requires a practical outfit and comfortable shoes, so this weekend I’ve let my higher heels rest. Ah oh, we’ve had clear skies in London 2 whole days now, with temperatures still rising, perhaps we’ve finally get our forever-longed-for-summer. Being very optimistic about the latter I wish you all a bright and happy Monday morning!

Saint Laurent Paris

It’s been confirmed that the legendary French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent will be rebranded to Saint Laurent Paris. The “name change” is part of the newly appointed creative director of the house, Hedi Slimane’s, way of moving the house forward, reports WWD, however the YSL logo will remain the same.
