Talk about inspiration, I absolutely love the delightful summery styling, atmosphere, sea breeze, light and image in this editorial Vogue Paris May issue, styled by Geraldine Saglio(!) and photographed by Gilles Bensimon.
Bring me on a sailboat this summer, anyone?

Vogue Paris February 2013 – styling by Emmanuelle and photography by David Sims
Vogue Paris what takes you so long to hit counters in London, cause I can’t wait to dive into this February issue that looks fully packed of inspiration. Especially this editorial styled by Emmanuelle Alt modelled by Andrea Diaconu, that includes cool casual denim styling, trench coats, streets of NY, a great model, Dries, hairy Celine sandals (better get used to these I’m afraid), and stunning images by David Sims. Absolutely love this spread!

Morning folks, popped into Vogue.fr this morning for updates and found myself in the most stylish company from my first day here in Paris, cool!!! I wore skirt and jumper by Altuzarra, shoes Alexander Wang, bag by Givenchy and Ray Ban’s.
Front & Back
This year Vogue has stripped down their summer covers for June and July fronted by our times “supers”. Nathalie Vodianova fronts Vogue Russia June issue, and the most talked about Gisele Bundchen’s more provocative butt-in-sand-cover for Vogue Paris June/July lensed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. I love them both in different ways and isn’t a great thing that when they strip down covers like this they choose 2 healthy looking models, both mums and have long successful careers behind them?

OMG, ok, I promise not to turn this blog into a video blog but I couldn’t help charing this rare clip with you that I came across yesterday. 2012 is obviously the year when the Vogue department want to show us that it doesn’t take itself too serious (see Vogue Italia’s IVC video), and now the creme de la creme of Vogue Paris in this hilarious video fronted by Emmanuelle Alt. Now I just wonder what funny tricks Anna Wintour is up to……
Points forts
One of my favorite spreads recently is Points Forts in Vogue Paris August 2011 issue, styled by Geraldine Saglio and photographed by Karim Sadli. I’m in love with the casual unpretentious layered styling and I wouldn’t mind any of these cozy knitwear’s in my wardrobe right now, it’s chilly out there…..
Emmanuelle Alt #5

Ok, since I’ve already included Emmanuelle Alt’s covers of Vogue Paris since she began let me introduce you to her 5′th one. This one, a close-up of the Princess of Monaco, Charlotte Casiragh, photographed by Mario Testino. It’s obvious the year of the royals and though she’s a gorgeous girl, and it’s a beautiful portrait, I find this cover pretty boring and would have expected more dynamic….. But I like the hair and make-up though, not the typical glossy-royalty.
Emmanuelle Alt #4
Morning ya’ll, after a few wonderful days and a night of traveling I’m back in London which is not that bad either but I’ve got plenty of things to catch up on.
Anyway, loving this 60′s style August cover of Vogue Paris featuring Lara Stone and lenced by Inez and Vinoodh. Refreshing from Emmanuelle Alt’s previous 3 close-up covers and proves that her work cannot be called predictable.
En cavale
My morning so far, in bed with Vogue Paris, my laptop and instant coffee at my hotel room, need to finish off some work before I head out to the streets of Paris again.
Loving the casual and everyday styling in the spread En Cavale and spotted my own sandals from Michael Kors again and again, feel tempted to wear them with socks like seen on Kors runway and here…..
Hot hot hot
It can hardly have missed anyone by now that Vogue Paris‘s June/July cover and spread with Isabeli Fontana photographed by Mert & Marcus is a remake of Vogue Italia‘s spread in February 1989 with Linda Evangelista photographed by Steven Meisel in Cuba.
I love this new oversaturated, hot and sweaty editorial though the original absolutely has a life of it’s own, and just for the fun of it I picked out some images of both spreads, the remake on the left and original shot on the right hand side.
See all the images from Vogue Paris here and Vogue Italia’s here.
Emmanuelle Alt #3
Vogue Paris June cover is out and I love it, it has a real supermodel era to it and I love that Isabeli Fontana doesn’t look into the camera, so unusual for a glossy cover isn’t. And as someone said already, doesn’t she look like Linda Evangelista?
Emmanuelle Alt #2

Emmanuelle Alt continues perhaps playing it safe by putting big names on the cover of Vogue Paris, her second issue, May 2011′s cover stars Kate Moss and I must say I personally like this much more that her first cover. Having that said I fell totally in love with her first spread so I can’t wait to see what’s hiding inside this issue.
Road Trip

This is Emmauelle Alt‘s first cover spread in French Vogue’s April issue which definitely to me has Alt’s stamp on it, rock’n roll bohemian chic and so different from the cover itself which I really didn’t get but I assume she simply played it safe. This spread takes me into someone’s travel diary and make me long even for for a warm vacation.
In fact I’m going away 2 weeks at the end of April but still have no clue where, the current sad circumstances on this planet right now have reduced the possible sunny and safe options down to the minimal. I’ve always longed for Brazil though, any other suggestions?
