Ok, I just had my last dip into the sea and this island adventure is over this time around. No more exotic beaches for a while as sivilisation is knocking on my door but there’s still a few more days left of my trip, next stop, Miami, see you there!

It took me some time before I got it, the name of the beautiful place I’ve been soaking up at during the last few weeks, Turks and Caicos, off course a reference to the clear turquoise water.

Haven’t written about food here for a while and since I’m almost starting to turn into a Robinson Crusoe on my dream island we’ve also hunted down our own food. On a snorkeling trip the other day we caught conchs (collected is perhaps a better word) and prepared a fresh salad of them at the beach, served with local beer, delicious!
Island life is still wonderful and it strikes me every day how stunningly beautiful it is here, the beaches are with no doubt the best I’ve ever seen, so clean and untouched and the light is magical around sunset, like here the other day when we headed the beach route to a restaurant, hence the footwear…….

Woke up this morning and felt and urge to play tennis, haven’t played for ages but managed in some sort of way, though I have to work on my backhand, it’s slightly out of control…..
Now, beach and snorkeling!
On my way to dinner the other day wearing my new favorite dress from Cos, sandals Prada, YSL Manifesto tote and pink lips.
I’m in paradise, Turks and Caicos is just what the doctor ordered, white sandy beaches, clear blue water and sunshine, and staying at a gorgeous resort does’t hurt much either. Today I’ve done absolutely nothing except reading chic lit, chilling in the sun and sipping chardonnay. Haven’t taken many photos so far but from now on I’ll bring the camera along.
Now, getting ready for barbeque!!!!

Thank you so much for your tips and mails to my cry for help the other day. In 3 days I’ll be leaving for this island in Caribbean, Turks and Caicos, looks just perfect, longing to dip my toes in that clear blue water, sleep, read and recharge! Until then there are many things that need to be sorted and right now I’m working from the fire escape on my sunny roof.
