When I come across great fabrics for a good price I strike, well almost, I’m so regretting I didn’t look a little harder for the white version of this cashmere turtleneck on the day of the MMM for H&M launch 2 weeks ago, especially now when I’ve got the hots for cozy warm dresses. And like a friend said the other day, ” that’s a lot of cashmere for £69!”, can’t argue that.
The weather in London right now is perfect to wear bare feet and a jumper, forget about the coat and hopefully it’s gonna last over the weekend. Btw, I have mixed feeling for these sandals, a love-hate-relation I guess, but as soon as I put them on I lean towards love cause they are pure therapy to my feet with the rubber sole, and even if they’re not the prettiest shoe they add something to any outfit.
Now, I’m gonna jump into a much more glamorous outfit, dinner out with the boys and it’s Friday, yeah, the best day of the week, wishing you all a lovely weekend!
On Saturday I dug out these soft leather pants from Cos in my wardrobe, one of my favorite pieces last year and I’ve got no plans of forgetting about them very soon either. The jumper is by Nowhere and I’m really positive surprised by the quality, every time I’ve worn it strangers have commented on it, one girl in a restaurant even sent the waiter over to ask me where it was from, so thumbs up!
Anyway, I wore this on Saturday noon when I was chilling in my hood and got pampered by my hairdresser before the big party, I wore leather pants from Cos, knit by Nowhere, clutch YSl, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, sunnies Phillip Lim, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela, necklace Tiffany’s and ring Pamela Love for Topshop.
Sorry, don’t have much time to either upload images or say much, I’m soon heading out the door for a party, in fact my own party, tomorrow’s my birthday but tonight’s the big bang and I guess I for once should be on time to welcome the guests, or perhaps I’ll do it the American-sweet-16-way, making a grand entrance after all guests have arrived, no, I’ll skip that.
Wishing you all a fun night too, Ciao!
Here are some details I wore earlier today and I’ll do a whole outfit post tomorrow. Leather pants Cos, knit Nowhere, clutch YSL, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela and Chanel’s Black Pearl on my nails.
Monday, day 7 of PFW, apparently was the last hot day this year before it cooled down, but a beautiful day it was indeed. Though I was struggling with my swallowing foot I just wanted to soak it all up while it still lasted. The day after we woke up to a wet ground, a cooler air and orange leaves flying around.
I wore a silk wrap skirt and top by Isabel Marant, sandals Celine, bag and bracelet Acne, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Burma and sunnies Ralph Lauren.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
Who could imagine high summer at this time of year, I’m pretty sure we never really had these high temperatures and burning sun any time this summer and I don’t mind at all being in Paris enjoying it. It has been a challenge though to get dress and after only a few days I had already used the summery fabrics I brought along. I could safely have left trousers and jumpers back home and only packed floating summery dresses. Obviously I haven’t been the only one with this “problem” and I guess many have had to improvise, or hit the stores for summery stuff in October, or those brave ones who decided to simply stay up against the heat.
I wore this outfit a few days ago and was completely melting away, I wore leather skirt, sandals and bag by Acne, top Zara, watch Tagheuer, bracelet J Dauphin, sunnies Ralph Lauren and the sand on my shoes are from Tuileries!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend and that you’ve been just as lucky as us with the weather. I think this might be the most sunny weekend we’ve had in London for ages and I tried my best to soak it up.
Yesterday I strolled around in my hood, late brunch at Le Pain Quotidien and in the late noon I watched the Rise of the Planet of the Apes at cinema, despite what critics may say I loved it, it’s incredible well done, so emotional, and at the end of it I found myself perhaps a little too enthusiastic for my surrounding audience.
Having that said I’ve been a total geeky fan of the original ape movie, Planet of The Apes from 1968, since I was a kid, and I recorded it from TV as a 10 year old. I could watch it again and again, totally hooked, until my baby brothers sadly recorded Thomas the Tank Engine all over my tape, ok, enough of nostalgia.
I wore pants and shoes from Cos, knit and bag by Acne, watch Tagheuer, ring YSL and Ray Ban’s.
Details from yesterday eve when I headed for a late show followed by dinner at the Mandarin with a lovely group of folks, the view up there was fantastic, highly recommended, even for someone like me who prefer to keep my feet planted safely on the ground.
I wore leather skirt by Acne, top Cos, clutch YSL, watch Tagheuer, bracelets YSL and Giuseppe Zanotti.
Yesterday I managed to get my outfit taken over here with my own camera and I finally got to wear my denim shirt by Celine. As I’m a little into denim on denim looks I paired it with my denim looking shorts by Acne.
Now, on the run out but I’m gonna check in a little later on, have a wonderful day!
Shirt and sunnies by Celine, shorts Acne, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, bracelets Hermes and Intermix, watch Tagheuer and bag Chanel.
It’s Monday noon and I’m still a bit tired after this weekend which ended quite late throughout, dinners with friends and a little clubbing. But there’s not much time for being lazy now as I’ve got some serious packing to do for my NY trip and a whole list of boxes that need to be ticked.
Anyway, here’s me on Saturday when I chilled at a typical London pub and headed for an early dinner at Massimo at late noon, the latest a highly recommended restaurant at Trafalgar Square, their oysters are just jammy!
I wore jumper by Acne, leather skirt Alexander Wang, watch Tagheuer, sandals and bag Celine,
Wow, what a wonderful day we’ve had in London today, great temperatures and sunshine and this afternoon I met up with my lovely friend Johanna and Maggie (a cute little dog she’s dogsitting) at The Waterway and cooled down over a glass of wine. Little Maggie was just adorable and so well behaved, and for a second and one second only I played with the idea of getting a dog. Anyway, I took the sunny opportunity to wear one of my summery dresses that will probably be put aside any day soon now.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
I wore dress and boots Isabel Marant, old vest I forgot where it’s from (Gestuz perhaps?), watch Tagheuer, bracelet Acne, bag Celine and Ray Ban’s.
The weather was really wet and uninspiring this morning when I left home for breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien with my favorite girl, Johanna.I tucked my hair inside my jacket and jumped into these cropped leopard jeans from Whistles (not exactly in that order) that I’ve used a lot lately. I’m so careful with leopard prints but this pattern and color feel more toned down in a way.
Jeans Whistles, old leather jacket Topshop, t-shirt and sandals Acne, bag Celine, watch Tagheuer and bracelet Margiela.
Due to bad weather this summer I haven’t had the chance to use all the summery outfits that I optimistically planned. Luckily I didn’t go totally crazy for summer buys this spring, as I tend to dig out fall stuff anyway in August, like these shorts I used a lot last winter from Cos, loving the voluminous shape and fabric.
Images taken today, I wore shorts Cos, shirt and bag Acne, shoes Balenciaga, watch Tagheuer and various bracelets.
It feels like fall has arrived in London, leaves on the ground and a raw chill in the air, I want more of summery hot days, especially now when I have some more time in handy.
Earlier this week I did my last post for Flingly for now, where I’ve worked as fashion editor since December last year, maybe I’ll pop up there in the future again, but for now, I hope to be part of new exciting projects and want to keep all doors open.
Images taken yesterday with my mum, I wore shorts H&M, top and belt Acne, jacket Isabel Marant, shoes Cos, watch Tagheuer, bag Celine and Ray Ban’s.
If you’re a shirt-lover like me I and looking for the right silky surface cotton-mix then a tip is to head over to Cos, they include the most perfect fitted shirt (that sold out everywhere in London last season) also this season and it comes in orange and blue as well.
Images taken earlier this week when I met up my lovely Julie for lunch in my old work environment, the city. I wore shirt Cos, leather skirt Zara, sandals and bag Celine, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Kenneth Jay Lane and sunnies Ray Ban’s.
