If I didn’t know any better I would have thought this shot was taken back in the 60’s, I snapped this cutie outside the Miu Miu’s Spring 2012 show in Paris back in October, a real living doll, the make-up, hair, lolita dress and mules in a lovely combination of sorbets. Sorbets have completely taken over my mind, want them all, pink, yellow, purple, green, blue, mint and nude……Happy Friday Everyone!
And it continues

Ok, there’s no secret wonderful knitted jumpers are favorite staples in my wardrobe and it seems like I can never get too many of them, either it’s cotton, cashmere or wool. High on my priority list for January and February are knitwear from Isabel Marant’s SS12 collection, perfect to wear with denim, skirts and pretty much everything.
Anya Ziourova
Like Tomasi Hill, Fashion Director of Tatler Rusia, Anya Ziourova, also has a wardrobe I would be very happy to raid. But it’s not only about the clothes, this girl always gets it so right without overdoing anything and top every look with a minimum of accessories, natural beauty, tousled hair and not a trace of make-up. I snapped her in Paris and she’s wearing Isabel Marant cord trousers and top.
Nadine Ponce
Beautiful Nadine Ponce, straight off Miu Miu’s SS12 runway, I really liked this collection and the hair and make-up worked so perfectly as a contrast to the feminine dresses. Nadine has this statuesque beauty to her and could be a crossing between Mona Lisa and Lindsey Wixson, don’t you think?
Taylor Tomasi Hill
If there’s anyone’s wardrobe I’d love to raid it must be Taylor Tomasi Hill‘s, she cant put a foot wrong in my eyes and I love how she combines strong eye catching pieces with more basic ones. How she paired this gorgeous batik printed skirt with a trail by Thakoon with a basic top and booties is to me utterly perfection. If you fancy the same heavenly skirt here’s a cropped version and one similar with different print and a trail.
Back to black
It’s not often we get to see Kate Lanphear wearing a feminine flippy skirt or any outfit that that enchants her tiny waistline, so I took the opportunity to store this rare moment on camera during fashion week in Paris. Off course staying true to her own style she went all black and accessorized with edgy silver rings.
White denim
My next buy might be a pair of white denims, I spotted many of the embrodiered jeans by Isabel Marant while in Paris but I’m craving for a plain pair like always chic Emmanuelle Alt, that would also look great tucked into a pair of boots. These, also by Marant, might be a candidate but I don’t like spending too much on a pair of jeans when you can find the perfect fit with a much better price tag, any of you lovely readers have any great tip?
Oki, gotta run, a delayed birthday dinner at a restaurant with a view, can’t wait!
Smile
Hello there, it’s Friday again, always a day to celebrate, weekends are so much more fun right. Above casual dressed and happy models Julia Nobis (not sure who the other girl is, anyone?) off duty after the Valentino show in Paris a couple of weeks ago, caught in a moment that should bring a smile on everyone’s face.
Happy Friday!
Ursina Gysi
Some days I wish I was blessed with long shiny locks like the cool and beautiful Swiss stylist Ursina Gysi, she really has caught my eye this past year with her very unique sense of style, a wonderful mix of robust fabrics and proportions, feminine vintage pieces, colors and prints, and tops every strong looks with tousled hair and minimal make-up, a cool girl indeed!
Ladylike
After the fashion month that just passed I can say I’m so over the sparkling Miu Miu shoes that popped up on every scene, I was already so over them when I left NY but their appearance in all colors continued their parade in London and Paris. But I do love many of Miu Miu’s A/W 11-12 dresses, though some are perhaps a little too ladylike for many of us, I think this woman hits it off so well in this floral crepe dress, looking just as fresh as the embellished flower prints.
Daphne Groeneveld
I snapped the Dutch model Daphne Groeneveld several times in Paris, here straight off the Lanvin runway just before sunset, and oh what a true beauty she is. We all know she knows how to work the runway and in front of the camera, like in the recent Versace for H&M campaign and in Peter Lindbergh’s fantastic “Immortal love”, but in real life I find her even more striking.
