If you have your ways through London from now until 3’rd of March then a hot address in town is the new Valentino exhibition that opens tomorrow at the Somerset House. It promises to be a journey into the secretive world of Italian couture and includes everything from exquisite couture designs, photographs and screenings, add that to your calendar.
Earlier this week I met up with my friend Sarah and we headed to the Somerset House for a nibble in the sunshine at Tom’s Cafe. For the moment there’s an exhibition called “Masters of Style” ongoing, featuring iconic images from Italian designers Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Missoni and Prada, unfortunately we didn’t have time to drop by but I won’t miss out on this one.
I wore an old cotton dress H&M, sandals Kurt Geiger, bag and sunnies Celine, watch Michael Kors and bracelets Intermix.
The Somerset House is as I’ve mentioned before one of my favorite spots to hangout on beautiful summer days in London and that’s where I enjoyed Friday after work drinks in the sunshine with my friend Johanna, lovely, though the service wasn’t impressive at Tom’s Kitchen, perhaps the staff was overheated?
I wore a blouse that has been hanging in my wardrobe for months from Acne, time to bring it out into the sun for sure, skirt Whyred, shoes Margiela, sunnies Ralph Lauren, bag Phillip Lim and various old bracelets.
After being away for a couple of weeks it’s lovely to catch up with your friends and that’s exactly what I did yesterday late noon, met up with my friend Maggie for a glass of wine and snacks at Tom’s Kitchen outdoor tent at Somerset House.
Now, some work and then a brunch with another fab girl, have a lovely noon you too!
Paisley shorts Isabel Marant, boyfriend’s jumper, boots Mango, bag Phillip Lim, sunnies Ralph Lauren Collection
Came across this fantastic leather creation at the exhibition at the Somerset House yesterday. The designer Martina Spetlova, recently graduated from St.Martins has several amazing leather pieces in her collection, among them a 2 set in white.
Have a lovely noon folks, I’m heading back to the Somerset House and thank god it looks like a dry day outside.
I see that I’ve got many new readers lately and I just want to thank you all, both old and new, for such lovely feedback on my blog, it’s so inspiring! Even if I don’t always get back to you I just want you to know that I read every single one of your comments and mails and I will try my best to answer all questions you might have and hoping not to disappoint.
Thank you again, you are the best!
Image taken on Monday when I visited a Matthew Williamson exhibition at the Somerset House, it was beautiful!

Today I headed over to one of my favorite places to hang out in London, the Somerset House. Last time I was here was last month ice-skating and if you fancy too the Tiffany & Co ice rank is still up and will be open until 23rd of January.
Well, no skating for me today, just hanging out in the sunshine on the terrace with the view of the Thames and enjoying a burger plate at Tom’s Kitchen. It looked like as if I wasn’t the only one with spring fever but I know very well there’s a long time to go yet and many things to look forward to, one of them London Fashion Week kicks off in one month at the Somerset House.
I’ll post some more images later, now, more work, ciao!
The globetrotter fashion and street style photographer Tommy Ton (Jak&Jil) snapped me and my mum without our attention when we left the Somerset House on Tuesday, really cool I think! See the whole gallery of his street style snaps on style.com
My mum is wearing a dress from Alexander McQueen, glasses Marc Jacobs and my Alexander Wang bag
I spent the the with my mother mostly at the Somerset House, looking through the exhibitions and lucky as we were the sun was shining on us the whole day and temperatures just got warmer and warmer. We had a long and great brunch on the terrace of the Somerset House in the sunshine, next to the Thames, a perfect place to soak up what’s left of this extended summer and on days when fashion week is not around I find this place as one of the most beautiful buildings in London.
What happened later in the day I’ll post about later.
I woke up late today being tired from the last few days. Met up with Kaz and my man and relaxed with a late outdoor Sunday brunch at the terrace of Somerset House and I enjoyed walking around at the Exhibition where they showcase ready to wear designs Spring/Summer 2011, one of my favorite Scandinavian brands where there, Minimarket.
