Though life goes on after fashion weeks I hope you don’t mind more images from Paris, as I’ve got loads of them. These are snapshots outside the Chanel show at Grand Palais the morning the fall winds turned. Karlie Kloss fresh from the Chanel runway, Christina Centenera’s sharply cut front and the Abu Khadra twins, regular showgoers in Paris.
A few snapshots outside the Isabel Marant SS12 show on Friday, where there were plenty of indian embroidered jeans and fringed jumpers and boots seen on both models and show goer’s. I know I’m running behind with updates here but I’ll do my best to make it up to you when the fashion month is over, which is actually later today, but first, 3 hours of sleep before I head over to LV, nighty night!
One of the women I find truly inspiring in every way is beautiful Natalie Massenet, who founded Net-a-Porter in 2000. A stylish woman whose entrepreneurial skills managed to turn a fashion business idea into a successful worldwide expanding multi-million-dollar online industry, still with her feet well planted on the ground and a smiley and warm personality.
I ran into her outside Burberry’s SS12 this week in Kensington Gardens while she was waiting for her car, I asked to take her picture and she kindly said yes and even complimented me. Beauty, brain, success and humanity in one package, that’s something that should inspire us ladies!
Notice that gorgeous animal-printed calf hair clutch from Newbark, officially on my wishlist.
On Thursday this week Lanvin for H&M presented their Haute Couture Show in New York. The collection was for sale after the show and the money went to charity.
Among the models were celebrities like Vogue Nippon’s editor Anna Della Russo sporting the little pink ruffled dress and a grey poodle. See the show below.
