Serendipity

Bonjour! Paris has been wonderful so far and yesterday was a non-stop day with shopping eating and randomly we bumped into 2 groups of friends in 2 different areas of Paris. In fact I was led to one of the areas, Marais, tracking a pair of gorgeous shoes, serendipity I guess.

Now, gotta get ready to a massive birthday party, wishing you a happy Sunday too!

White shirt

I love white shirts, can’t have to many of them and probably my favorite items after denims and I often “borrow” them from my boyfriend as I prefer them a bit oversized. Images taken last week on a day I didn’t have a clue what to wear and the weather wasn’t really helping. Today’s a different story though, the sun is shining and the heat finally returned to London, perhaps a good excuse to put on a summery dress while there’s still time.

Chilling

I’ve had such a perfectly relaxed weekend and managed to catch up with lots of friends, it’s not always easy when everyone’s got a hectic daily schedule.

In tone with my chilly mood I dug out these velvet shorts from last summer from Zara, totally forgotten about them, so soft and comfy.

Desert

On Sunday I strolled around in beautiful Paris the whole day, stopped by charming bistro’s and enjoyed the sun, it was incredible hot and felt like desert, I’d forgotten to bring along sandals and lets just say I won’t forget that ever again, my boots absolutely killed me in the heat.

Humid

What I wore on a rainy and super humid shopping day in Miami, when I left my hotel my hair was totally under control but as the hours went past in the humid air it started growing, everyone of you with curls knows what I’m talking about right? I wonder how curly girls do in this sort of climate, they must have some secret tricks for sure…..
Anyway, on my trip I practically lived in these denim shorts from Topshop and as they come in pink as well I’m thinking of getting another pair.

Disconnected

Feeling a bit disconnected from everything that happens in the world outside my holiday bubble and try to spend as little time as possible in front of my computer, but I guess that’s what vacation is for right.

Yesterday eve we headed to a great Italian restaurant and that was one of those rare days so far on my holiday where I left my Havaianas at home.

Summer Sunday

On Sunday we joined a fabulous group of friends at late noon for an early dinner at a place called Roast at Borough Market serving excellent tasty british food, a very positive surprise I must say, both foodwise, price level and atmosphere. I’ll definitely go back for their roasted chicken, the best I tried in ages.

Oki, now I’ve got some work to finish and then I’ll join a wine tasting, have a lovely Monday eve!

Little London

Sorry for lousy posting, ended up late last night until the sun disappeared looking down at little London. I was questioning myself if I should share this address with you or not, my secret garden, a stone throw from my house, a small oasis in the centre of all the business, but off course why not, the roof garden on Trafalgar Hotel is amazing and I spent last eve with my dearest Johanna zipping champagne and enjoying the warm breeze on bare skin.
