Who else than Anna Wintour would be able to rock a full on outfit from Celine’s pre-fall 2012 collection, looking absolutely radiant, only 2 weeks after images of the collection were out.

I stopped looking in Balmain’s direction a long time ago, trashy denims and t-shirts attached to out-of -this-world-price-tags didn’t feel appealing to me in any way. But something has definitely changed with the young new designer, Olivier Rousteing in the lead, and his pre-fall 2012 collection is really beautiful and cool with it’s new oversized silhouettes (and no holes in sight!).

Yeah Acne, overall I think this pre-fall collection is awesome and includes everything from tailored, pin stripes, wide belts, boxy jackets, tweed an shiny fabrics, in a sort of mix and references to many of my other favorite fashion houses (without naming any!). As I’m not crazy about those cropped wide-legged-trousers I didn’t include those looks here but you’ll find the whole collection on style.com.

I’ve got a really soft spot for Nicolas Ghesquière’s creations for Balenciaga who usually delivers some of my favorite collections every season. But this time I’m not totally taken, his pre-fall collection has a little too many 80′s references for my taste and those hideous zebra opaque tights just doesn’t do it for me, so I guess it’s perhaps down to the styling. However there are plenty of pieces here I love like many of the leather pieces and lovely jumpers and I’m really curious on their new range of earrings, and lets not forget about the shoes. Holy Phoebe Philo, you’ve done it again, another pre-collection for Celine that makes my mouth water. Everything from the oversized silhouettes, leather pants, pin striped suit to the cobalt blue coat, what can I say. There’s no doubt that Philo’s designs are directional for the next season to come and in a way I find her pre-collections most inspiring. Right now I feel like digging out a pair of old leather skinnies, jump into a pair of white sneekers and open a Celine savings account. See the whole collection here.

Masculine tailoring continues in pre-fall 2012 collections and one of my favorites are by Givenchy. Who would resist the beautiful coats though the key item in this collection is definitely the boots worn in almost every single look. I was never really a fan of Isabel Marant’s knee-high fringed boots this season, felt too costumey, these however in leather got my attention, so cool!!!

So far many designers have included black&white looks in their Pre-Fall 2012 collections and Alexander Wang is the latest to join the squad. His pre collection is less street and sportswear oriented than we’ve seen lately and includes tailored jackets, vests, skirts and pants, and again a highly desirable collection of shoes. While many designers recently have taken a step away from androgynity Alexander Wang is still in it and I love him for that, see the whole collection here.

Yeah, finally a Pre-Fall 2012 collection that is up my street, Phillip Lim has during the last year joined the group of my top favorite designers, in every collection he brings along something new, cool and uncomplicated and his comic book/superhero-inspired pre-fall collection is no exception. Lovely coats, cuts and edgy prints but I especially love the trousers, want them all! See the whole collection here.

After looking through the Pre-Fall 2012 collections so far, nothing really made my heart jump and neither did I feel many must have’s from my side, expect from these metallics silvery pants and boots by Theyskens’ Theory (need to dig out my own Acne trousers!) and this printed jacket/bolero from Zero+Maria Cornejo‘s, looks absolutely fabulous!
