Having your very own custom made monogrammed Prada heels, oh yes please! If you can dig a little deep in your pocket, and will be around London on the 26’th 27’th this week, then the Prada store on Sloane Street is the place to head to. You’ll be available to choose from 9 different models, varying heel heights, and a number of colours on fabrics and soles.
For directional designers like Miuccia Prada and Phoebe Philo, it’s mostly about bold graphic art prints the coming season. If you haven’t been able to embrace (still not convinced?) the colourful wave yet, you better either do so or shy away from the 30 first ad pages in magazines this spring, first ad out is Steven Meisel for Prada, stay tuned!
Yeah, we’ve been blessed with gorgeous summery weather in London this week and a little over night I had to move from a fall mood into summer again. Luckily a few of the pieces I’ve bought lately can easily be used in 30 degrees heat as on cooler days, this new “clever skirt” by Isabel Marant with an elastic waistline and pockets is one of them. Easy to throw on when you’re on the go, perfect to roll and carry along in a bag, and will work just as well with tights when those days come. As for now I’ll wear it with easy summery tanks and tops to avoid a melting process.
Images taken the other day, I wore tank by Balenciaga, skirt (dress here) by Isabel Marant, shoes by Prada, bag by Celine and Ray Ban’s.
Ok I know, jumper and jeans again, but oh I wish it wasn’t so, I’d rather sport shorts, cute tops and summery dresses in London, wishful thinking these days. Anyway in order to “lift” what has become my uniform this summer, I jump into a pair of good looking heels, going all over practical would just make this whole Northern Europe weather scenario even more sad.
Yesterday’s outfit, I wore jeans and belt by Isabel Marant, cotton jumper by Topshop Boutique, sandals by Prada, bag Celine and Ray Ban’s
Yesterday my good old Mac decided to call it a day, followed by me being close to several heart attacks and 4 days of waiting for service at the genius bar, where hopefully some of my not-yet-backed-up-files can be restored, nerve-wracking!!!
Well well, not much too do about it now, so here’s what I wore last day of couture last week, easy-breezy relaxing, thank you Vogue for featuring me!
I wore trousers by Isabel Marant, lace tee by Acne, sandals Prada, bag by Celine, bracelets Cooee and Ray Ban’s.
On Friday I celebrated the end of week with some color and slipped on my (very!) yellow jumper that you’ll find on sales here right now. I didn’t at all have in back of my mind the Swedish football game later that day, which I was asked several times during the day. Yes, I like sports to some degree but would never let it affect my sartorial choices, this was simply a pure coincidence, I swear!!!
The shoes on my feet today are these beauties by Prada, I just couldn’t resist them when I stumbled into Prada’s 50% shoe sales yesterday. Would you believe me if I say they are super comfortable, I can assure you they are, which is like an unexpected extra bonus, strappy stilettos comfortable, yeah right! Now on the run again, big game shown in London pubs tonight, I love you England but today I love Sweden more.
Happy Friday evening folks!
Hehe, this short film by Roman Polanski for Prada starring Ben Kingsley as a psychiatrist and Helena Bonham Carter as his poor-rich self-absorbed patient is just too cute.
While in Milan I tried on every single one of Prada’s sunglasses for spring summer, and I totally fell for these 2 models that comes in a selection of different colors. Sadly they were only on display at that time but I think I’m gonna jump on it quickly when they are officially out.
Sorry for lousy posting but I’ve had my hands full here in Oslo so far, I promise to catch up soon. Now, I’m just about to jump into this outfit and head over to the Samsøe & Samsøe show and then party party!
Have a lovely Saturday eve everyone!
New pants and top H&M, racer top by Isabel Marant, sandals and bag Alexander Wang and earrings by Prada.
If you have missed out on this spring’s fastest shoes, most glittery bijoux, and some of the coolest prints that I guess anyone with a right mind would want to add to their wardrobes (if they could), then here it is, Prada’s spring/summer 2012 campaign video, which takes place on a gas station (highly suitable!). Vroom Vroom, enjoy!
Beautiful things in store right now, a quilted leather bomber from Topshop Boutique, perfect for cold days worn with a warm knit, and leather plexi heels from Zara. Those beautiful Prada earrings just got to be mine but I’m leaning towards the pale green color with pink crystals instead, in a way I think the red ones would be better on a blond.
Though I prefer to wear my jewellery simple and sleek on my wrists and fingers I might feel tempted to wear something chunky in my ears like seen in Marni’s, Prada’s and Oscar de La Renta’s Spring 2012 collections. But I wouldn’t wear it with much other accessories, perhaps just with a simple T.
