I’m hunting for a new wallet, but finding one that ticks all boxes is never easy, as the leather needs to be strong enough for every day wear (a wallet that easily scratches in my bag, don’t think so!), have a big enough coins room (how annoying is it not to be able to zip it!), pockets for cards and receipts (I have a seriously receipt-mess in my handbag right now!), and last but not least, something discreetly timeless. On top of my wallet wishlist are the Intrecciato by Bottega Veneta, pricy yes, but perfect!
5 accessories I wouldn’t mind at all this spring are sets of golden rings, pointy slippers, something studded (an-all-year-rounder!), a minimal clutch and round sunnies, and these are some of my favourites in store right now.
Set of golden rings by Balenciaga, iphone case by Saint Laurent Paris, slippers by Zara, ipad case by Acne and sunnies by Prism.
I’ve been craving a pair of white pumps some time now, same happened last year when I totally fell for Alexander Wang’s Joan’s. However, white heels can easily look a little “wrong” (tarty anyone?), but a pair that definitely looks right in my eyes this season are these by Saint Laurent (Slimane again I know!). If interested you’ll find them with a higher heel here or other colours here.
In case you didn’t know you’ll find Topshop Unique’s runway collection in selected stores and online right now, but some pieces are selling like hot bread so be aware. I’ve secured some of my favourite pieces myself that will be perfect for layered airy looks come spring, oh wonderful days ahead!
Despite my love for a more tone down colour range and my current pale winter skin, I’m strongly feeling the need to dip into some colour very soon, so today’s picks are these fresh chunky neon jumpers by Kenzo that I would wear casual with jeans as soon as i can, hence one of them is already on it’s way to join my post-pregnancy wardrobe. If interested you’ll find them here, yours for £260.
Ok, here we go again, yet another Saint Laurent pick. Though I wasn’t such a fan about many of the runway looks this collection simply include so many beautiful separates from basics and tailored to shoes and accessories, that the more I see the more I wish for (me greedy? no!). So today’s little wishful thought is this gorgeous crepe dress with sheer sleeves, that I could easily make room for in my wardrobe until I’m fit for a dancefloor again, but sadly that’s a hard one to justify right now. (Yours for £1,521)
I’m a jeans-shirt-girl at heart and I’m so missing my simple jeans looks, feels like ages ago!!! Well, I assure you I’ll jumping into a pair of perfect skinnies, a slightly unbuttoned silk blouse with rolled up sleeves, a little tuck, and killer heels as soon as I can, and wouldn’t mind any of these pieces to be included. With a long black coat over the shoulders or a duvet bomber I would have been ready to join fashion-month-circus! Btw, loving the silk shirt by H&M (£39.99) so much that I’ll probably get it now and save it for later.
I fell in love with Dries Van Noten’s spring collection as soon as I laid my eyes on it in September, and finally some of the gorgeous pieces, like these highly coveted cotton checked shirts have hit stores. Though we’ve been bombarded with similar styles and copies on the highstreet for months it hasn’t affected my desire to wear checked this spring. Except for the obvious pairing with denim I might also do it the “Dries-way” with florals and silks, and any of these two would be so welcomed by me! Orange shirt £221 and burgundy shirt £455.
Ok, so I admit I might be slightly obsessive about shoes, and as for black boots it seems like there’s always room for another pair in my shoe closet (heart!). When I came across these beauties I died a little, the perfect black high heel ankle boots and biker boots, both by Saint Laurent Paris, and both out of reach for most people mid January, boots-dilemma!!!
I’ve lost track of how many mails I’ve received the last 2 years from readers asking to buy my Scale bag by Acne that pretty much sold out globally back in 2011. Well, happy news is that the gorgeous bag is back in leather and suede, in different colours and shapes, with the signature buckle designed by Husam El Odeh. If you fancy any of these beauties you’ll find them here, pricing from £300 to £600.
