The coming season is trending towards eccentric statement jewellery, especially big chunky bracelets in all varieties and colours. I personally prefer mine more on the sleek side though, and wouldn’t mind this new addition in the Hermès family, the Attelage bracelet, a minimal beauty in rose gold and silver, yum!
Who’s not in on comfy dressing? Well, I am for sure, and I raise my hand for monchrome dressing too! Totally fell in love with this new set while trying it on (in blue), and I can’t wait to wear it out for drinks paired with heels or with slippers for a chilling look, hereby my picks of the week in stores, by Stella McCartney Resort and the trousers and blouse come as separates.
Add Norwegian jewellery brand Tom Wood on your radar if you haven’t already. Lust-worthy (!), timeless, solid, unisex rings in sterling silver, gold and quality gemstones (no platings in sight!), are my favourites, but the line also includes necklaces and earpieces, all with an androgynous feel.
Nipple balm aka Lanolin for your lips? (Breastfeeding flashbacks anyone?) Best balm I’ve ever tried for chapped lips and works on everything from dry skin areas, cuticles to a make-up booster. 100% pure medical grade Lanolin, fragrance free and worth every penny. Dr. Lipp is yours for £11.50 and you’ll find it here.
Ok, I’m not the greatest fan of “in-your-face-logos”, neither have I ever been in love with “The Boy”. However, sometimes the unexpected do happen, and when I tried on this little hybrid youngster i soft pink (imagine!), I was tempted not to put him back on the shelf. Lord!
Yesterday I joined Roger Vivier for the celebration of their brand new London boutique at Selfridges. To celebrate the launch of the new boutique Creative Director Bruno Frisoni has created a limited edition version of the classic Virgule “comma heel’, a punk’ish tartan printed beauty, exclusively at Selfridges, yummy!
Alexander Wang presented one of the easiest-to-wear-collections I’ve seen in a while back in NY, which include many definite sell out pieces(!) for next spring. If you want to make sure to get your hands on “Parental Advisory” or perhaps the most craved after pair of boxer shorts (my favourite look!), then you can pre-order these items here along with the rest of the collection until the end of the day today.
Temperatures has dropped over night in London and it’s high time to act coat-wise, we all know the best coats and jackets usually fly off the hangers along the first signs of chilly degrees. My dusty-pink-dream-coat-by-Rochas sold out on the day a few months back, but luckily I’ve managed to secure two other favourites of mine amongst these picks in stores right now.
Tweed coat by Balenciaga, quilted shell jacket by Saint Laurent Paris, wool coat by Stella McCartney, pinstriped wool coat by Mango, pink wool coat Roksanda Ilincic, wool trench by Diane Von Furstenberg, shearling jacket by Acne, checked wool coat by Vanessa Bruno (also here), wool coat by Isabel Marant.
