Overloads

Woop woop, hope you all had a fabulous weekend so far,  and luckily there’s still some time left of it. Sadly the London weather hasn’t been very generous lately, cloudy and grainy, and I can’t recall when we last experienced blue skies, which make me almost miss the clear, bright and cold Scandinavian winters (well, just almost!).
Anyway, this is how I looked last week on an active day out and about in town, hence the footwear and comfy layers. Wishing you all a great Sunday noon!

Online

Today my pale wintery feet jumped into my new graphic python gommino’s that I posted about before Christmas (love, love, love them!). Many of you have asked me where to find these limited edition pair amongst others, and now Tod’s has finally launched an European e-commerce on their website, where you’ll find these beauties if interested, and SS13 collections available from end of January.

Midi

Many thanks for uplifting words on my previous outfit post, and great feedback regarding honesty, something I intend to keep all the way (no conspiracy club here no).

Bodycon midi dresses are btw new favourites in my wardrobe, and super comfy with an expanding bump. Except for a few midi dresses I already had I’ve bought some extras on the high street just to have more options, and as long as they are stretchy there’s no need to look in the maternity departments(!), just saying.
Ok gotta run, late dinner out in town, wishing you all a fabulous eve!

2012

January, February, March

April, May, June

July, August, September

October, November, December

Ok, I just had a serious overdose of myself putting together 60 of my own everyday outfits from 2012, before and after my baby bump came along, but in “true-blogger-spirit” I guess I goes with the territory right.

I usually don’t look back in time but rather stay focused on the present moment or looking ahead, but on this day I guess it’s inevitable. 2012 has been a fantastic and exciting year in every way and 2013 looks like it’s gonna be great too, if not eve better, both privately and professionally, and if everything goes according to plan I’ll be welcoming my little baby in February, frightening, surreal and wonderful at the same time.

As for you my dearest readers, I wish you and your loved ones all the best for 2013 and may wonderful things happens on your side too. Have a good one tonight and I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hello there Chloé

I haven’t gone “all crazy” on the sales this time around, but kept my eyes open for classics that I believe in and welcomed a few beauties on the accessory side, like this Elsie bag by Chloé, absolutely love it!!! If interested you’ll find it here or a similar clutch here.

B&W, and a little gold

Half Christmas over already and I wish I could drag it out a little more. The London weather has been everything but Christmassy, mild and wet, but there’s definitely something in that saying “home is where your heart is”, and my heart has been in London with my family.

Outfit-wise I haven’t been up to much exciting, but my love for dress-coat-and boots continues. For a change I jumped into a drop waist dress the other day which was intentionally meant to be loose, but at least I can’t blame the the Christmas joy of food for not being so. I wore a silk dress by Topshop Boutique (similar here), tights by Wolford, boots by Acne, new coat by Vanessa Bruno Athe, bag by Proenza, watch by Michael Kors, rings and bracelet by Monica Vinader and De Beers.

In time

Only 4 days left before Christmas but right now there’s not much reminding me of one, I can forget all about the snow yes, but 8 degrees rainy-grey-London-skies are just depressing (!). Not relying on the weather I opt to make it really cozy at home, which is my first Christmas over here and the first time family comes over from Norway to join (lots of 1′sts!), yeah! Now, getting my place ready, hoping all deliveries will arrive on time including the tree, and that the Christmas spirit will find it’s way to my new home just in time.

Outfit worn on a much brighter day,  I wore an oversized wool jumper (worn as dress) by Cos, tights by Wolford, coat by Mango, new cashmere scarf by Vassilisa, boots by Isabel Marant, rings by De Beers and bag (on sale) by Proenza Schouler.

Noir

Yesterday eve me and my bump took a break from all Christmas turmoil, preparations and overloaded mailboxes, and jumped into an all black outfit, a pair of Jimmy Choo’s, and my new gifted, gorgeously studded Valentino clutch (it’s actually an Ipad bag), and we all had a fab night out on town, heavily needed!

Looking ahead

There are so many temptations out there right now, resort collections hitting stores and great winter sales ongoing. My “dilemma” is if I strike I probably won’t fit into it anyway until the season is over, so I’ve chosen to close my eyes (man it’s hard!) and focus on the beautiful spring that will come eventually. With a few exceptions though, like this currency printed shirt from Acne’s resort that I’ve wanted since I first had a look on this collection, and even if it’s a little tight over my bump right now at least I can wear it come spring.

New shirt iconby and boots by Acne, old wool coat, maternity skinnies by J Brand and bag by Proenza Schouler.

Wool & Tweed

Happy Monday morning and I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

I spent mine doing lots of 1′sts in my life, finding myself of the top floors of department stores (babystuff) instead of enjoying the “secret” sales on the floors below was definitely a 1′st one. I probably looked liked a big question mark when the helpful staff loaded my arms with “necessary” gadgets I never heard of, or even occurred to me was needed. Well, now it’s all done in one go and the rest of shopping time available in December will be devoted to Christmas gifts and perhaps a few treats for myself, just to release some of the pressure for Santa…..

What’s not a 1′st one is my forever combo of wooly dresses and coats, but that just happens to be my favourite right now. Wool dress and scarf from Cos, coat and boots by Isabel Marant, tights by Wolford, bag by Proenza Schouler, gold bracelet by Monica Vinader and rings by De Beers.

Layering

While up in Oslo earlier this week I got a strong reminder of what real winter is about, I once was used to arctic weather, but -19 raw Oslo air, honestly, it was really painful and not very surprisingly the streets were almost empty of people. I wore my duvet winter parka every day, which I guess is the only way to stay warm along with furry boots, except one day, when I bravely stepped out in this cape, sometimes layering of wool work as well, at least if you just rush in and out between stores and cafées.

I wore leather leggings by Joseph (or similar style here), wool cape by Hofmann, boots by Acne, bag by Celine and sunnies by Tom Ford.

Velvet & Stripes

Woop woop, I’m back in London and jumped straight into my heels this morning when I joined a fabulous group of women at Tod’s Christmas lunch at 5 Hertford Street. I wore my new stripey viscose blouse from Zara (a real budget bargain!), a new pair of velvet skinnies by J Brand (maternity-fantastic!), my beloved Agnes by Jimmy Choo, signature bag by Tod’s and a new golden coin bracelet by Monica Vinader (coins are my latest crush!). Now getting ready for next event, wishing you all a fabulous eve too!

London from Norway

I’m apparently into darker outfits these days, and have been sporting lots of all black, something I usually rarely do. Either if it’s dressing accordingly as days are getting darker or to minimise my growing silhouette, I don’t know.
Anyway, here’s what I wore the other day when I caught up with my sweet friend Martha for lunch at Sloane Square, before I later in the day jumped on a flight to Norway, now chilling at my mum’s place mentally preparing to step out in -11 degrees. Happy chilly Sunday everyone!

Wool dress by IRO, new coat from Zara, scarf by Ralph Lauren, boots by Isabel Marant, bag by Proenza Schouler and Ray Ban’s.

More for less

When I come across great fabrics for a good price I strike, well almost, I’m so regretting I didn’t look a little harder for the white version of this cashmere turtleneck on the day of the MMM for H&M launch 2 weeks ago, especially now when I’ve got the hots for cozy warm dresses. And like a friend said the other day, ” that’s a lot of cashmere for £69!”, can’t argue that.

Outfit worn one day in Paris last week, cashmere knit and bracelet MMM for H&M, coat by Isabel Marant (similar here), boots by Phillip Lim, bag by Proenza Schouler and watch by Tagheuer.

Cyber Monday

Today it’s Cyber Monday, and most of the US sales have already kicked off during the weekend (you lucky gals over there!). These are some of my favourites on sales right now and if I had them all handy I wold have worn the whole outfit right away with a pair of black tights, perfect for this dull Monday in London.

Houndstooth bag by Chloe, wool dress by Giambattista Valli, boots by Alexander Wang, lipstick by Burberry Beauty and necklace by Stella McCartney,
