I’m personally a big fan of Ryan Storer’s new collection which involves clean, bold, yet understated pieces with Swarovski pearls. Fine jewellery really is peaking at the moment, which also goes for their amounts of carats and price tags, but these pieces come more pocket friendly for sure. This Rhodium earring for instance is yours for £160 and you’ll find it here.
August have been a busy one, while it seems that most people have escaped cities for airy beach life I certainly have been on the run or in a flight. Jeans, blouse and sandal combo’s have become my simple choice of outfits, especially when you’re juggling early nursery drop offs and meetings.
Well, soon they are off again, the clothing I mean, I’ve saved the best of summer to the last, a very much longed for holiday ahead, beach life ahoy, see you in Mykonos!
Bossy me, probably loosing patience on my non-professional photographer friend around who just kindly offered to help (so sorry dear, please forgive me!). Wearing Frame denims, silk shirt by Saint Laurent, bag by Proenza Schouler (also here and here), python sandals by DelRioLondon, watch by Larsson & Jennings, diamond rings by Monica Vinader, and Ray Ban’s.
Who would have thought, Anna Wintour is a sport, and along with so many others accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge, to support the ALS’s fund-raising that has gone viral this week. After being challenged by Gisele Bundchen and her own daughter Bee Shaffer, Wintour further on challenged Roger Federer and Dominic West, go Anna!
Great news for your wallets ahoy! Joseph Altuzarra has teamed up with the US high-street chain Target with a capsule collection including some sleek, feminine, tailored Altuzarra pieces and accessories that oozes power, starting from £25. My bet this collection will fly, available on Net-a-Porter in September.

If there’s a pattern I’ll never tire of it’s got to be plaids, something the piles of classical checked shirts and scarves in my wardrobe clearly proves. This fall season, like so many before, plaids are back, not that they ever left, last year was full on plaid-mania.
Anyway, I recently teamed up with the iconic brand Belstaff, well known for their waxed leather bikers and recent collaborations with David Beckham. However this brand has certainly more than bikers up their sleeves, and this wrap skirt for instance might end up being one of my favourite staples, teamed up with an oversized turtleneck knit and sneakers come fall.
We’re getting there slowly, that time of summer when it gradually changes, you feel it in the air, the flowers are not strutting as much as they did a month back, friends and family gatherings are calling for reality, and in London yellow leaves already started falling. One month too early in my opinion but luckily there’s still a few more exciting escapes on my agenda before it’s time to roll up those sleeves. For those of you who’s got no more trips left, bless, and may August still be fabulous!
Meanwhile, the little clothes I’ve been wearing lately when I haven’t enjoyed beach life can be summed up by these loose jeans and blingy sandals. MiH jeans (also here and here), top by Celine, sandals by Marni (also here), watch by Larsson & Jennings, Ray Ban’s.
I don’t know about you, but I find myself drawn towards everything but loud colours and screamy prints these days. Right now I wouldn’t mind adding more earthy tones to my wardrobe, and these are perfect elements for transitional dressing coming up soon.
August, I’m not sure what happened, but I guess losing track on time is a good sign when you’re holidaying, and that explains my absence here lately, amongst technical problems that resulted in several Mac-attacks for a while.
Well, I’m kicking off my August (and may it never end!) with my love for diamonds and personalised jewellery. As you may have noticed I’m a true fan of subtle pieces, and practically wear them every day, some which I never take off, same goes for my little girl. Though I’m a minimalist at heart my weakness are diamond pieces, and if I ever get close to over-accessorise I blame my love on them sparkling little things that I love combining with other special engraved pieces, #MYLOVE for those who might have noticed already.
Check out my latest collaboration with Monica Vinader here where I’m lined up with North-East-West and Central London girls.
Being a knit-kinda-girl I’m super excited about all the fabulous knit options and statement pieces that will rule this coming fall and winter. Can we ever get enough of oversized long-sleeved soft turtlenecks, me think not, and I’m more than tempted to go for an all knitted set too, yum!

Though I know many of you out there are addicted to the sweat, pain, and released endorphines that goes hand in hand with organised training, being honest, I’m certainly not one of them. However, we do what we gotta do, and number one thing to get me motivated to kick off a training session is fabulous sportswear, being honest again, it does count a whole lot if you’re as undedicated like me.
When I recently teamed up with Net-a-Porter’s newly launched lifestyle category Net-a-Sporter, who’s got an amazing selection of everything from gym wear to loungewear brands, I chose the most natural location, my childhood playground in the north of Norway. Except for feeling strong, beeing physical in wild nature has always given me a feeling of weightlessness and is fantastic for clearing your mind. Highly recommended you lovely ones, in style, lets get started shall we?
Happy mid July from sunny summery London!
Holiday season is just around the corner and right now I personally can’t wait for a city break and spend weightless days on the seaside. As part of my new mantra I’m opting to pack as light as possible, optimistically bringing along only one knitwear as a throw-on on cooler evenings, wish me luck!
Due to ever-growing wardrobes and compact London living, I’m joining a group of fabulous London girls for a YARD SALE tomorrow at Aubaine in Marylebone (W1U 4EP) between the hours 10:30-17:00. Mostly pre-loved designer pieces will be on my racks, clothes, shoes and accessories, come come!
Other girls selling on the day are Shini Park, Peony Lim, Carrie Harwood, Charlie May, Alice Zielasko and Abisola Omole.
I love a pair of cropped trousers, in fact I’m not an owner of anything that falls below my mid leg anymore, wide cropped, slim cropped, jeans cropped, and add cropped tops along with it throughout the summer. However, the trend barometer might say longer leg lengths come fall 2014, but lets wait shall we.
Hoping the sun is shining on you too!
