You might have seen on this space I’ve been a fan of Monica Vinader’s jewellery for quite a while. One of the main features of the brand, is the “stacking-principle”, which works so well for both bracelets or rings, that can be mixed together making it more personal. Monicavinader.com recently launched a fun ring stacker tool, which allows you to click, drag and rotate, and put together all sorts of combinations, clever indeed!
Knits knits knits! They still remain my favourite piece every winter season, and apparently I can never get enough of them, something that the ever growing pile in my wardrobe clearly proves. On another note it’s not so strange, I mean, we wear them 9 months a year in the northern hemisphere, and they pretty much go with anything, especially if you’re more of a minimal dresser like me who prefer simple lines and easy-go-to-combos.
With this mohair beauty it was love at first sight, and I will definitely try to squeeze as many looks out of this little investment piece in the time ahead.
Let fall begin!
After fantastic days in Sardinia I’m back on the concrete with whites and pale colours on my mind, which are perfect for the high temperatures we’re still blessed with in London. Though I’ve invested in and eyeing gorgeous new heels for my wardrobe, I pretty much swear to flats when I’m on the run these days. In the summer heat, and hectic days with work and my little girl in my arms it’s the obvious alternative. Flats me, hehe, who would have thought?
North of Norway I love you, but this time around you were to far off the seasonal scale, I’m sorry, but no one up there deserves 12 degrees mid July(!).So back on went leather pants, knits and jackets, between home lounging in pyjamas. On another note I got the chance to jump into my new perfectly baggy leather pants for fall, and a splash of new collection Baja by Monica Vinader, like these stacked rings and bracelet which are new seasons favourites of mine.
And oh, don’t forget to enter my joint competition with Monica Vinader, by letting us now what you’d have engraved and why by commenting here or tweeting @MonicaVinader or @hedvigSO using hashtag #MVLights. Only 2 more days to go sweetie pies!
New leather trousers by Ganni (here and here), cashmere sweater by Dries Van Noten (very similar here), shoes by Chanel (sales bargains!), blazer from & Other Stories, wallet by Neri Karra, watch by Tagheuer and stacked Baja rings and bracelet by Monica Vinader.
Morning superstars from a chilly Northern Norway where I’m relaxing with my little girl and family for a week, it’s so cozy to be home and have a break from city life for a few days. However I do miss the fantastic summer I left behind in London on Tuesday, as the contrast to where I’m now couldn’t be any bigger. Anyway, I hope and intend (!) to jump back into summer outfits as soon as I’m back, like these high waisted shorts for instance, a real find at Zara.
Music tee by Acne, shorts from Zara, shoes by Saint Laurent (similar here ), python bag by Tod’s, sunnies by Tom Ford, new Siren ring and Ava diamond bracelet by Monica Vinader, other jewellery Tiffany and Balenciaga.
As you may know already through my posts I’m quite a fan of Monica Vinader’s jewellery, and since I first walked into the store on South Molton street and got myself an engraved bracelet, I’ve been hooked. I think the idea of having jewellery engraved (Make it Your Own!) makes it all so much more personal, along with the “stacking principle” of Monica’s lines which I also love.
Needless to say that I was thrilled to be approached by the brand to host this event above and a joint reader competition, something I feel very excited about, and which feels like the most natural thing as I’m already such a fan of Monica’s jewellery. I’m therefore pleased to invite all of you lovely readers to come along to an exclusive 20% off shopping evening on the 18th of July. No need to miss out on this offer if you’re not based in London. We are giving my readers 20% to redeem on the Monica Vinader website on the night of the event. Just enter the code cited on the invitation.
1. Tell us what you would have engraved on your Ava Bracelet and why by either

I will be in the store on South Molton Street on the day where I will select the winner of the competition where everyone is eligible to enter worldwide, so what are you waiting for? I hope as many of you will make it on the night and join me for shopping, chats, styling, fun, champagne and Scandinavian canapés!
We all have a few staples in our wardrobe that we always tend to grab for, the few items you really love and never seem to get enough of, especially on days your creativity is like non existing. In my case these goodies are as simple as skinny jeans, along with some t-shirts, so basically the most basic you can imagine.
Needless to say I felt glorious happy the other day when I finally managed to slip into my favourite skinnies again after being separated way too long (8 months!), that feeling…..
Wishing you a fabulous Sunday noon and see you in Oslo where I’ll be heading tomorrow!
J Brand jeans, new silk blouse Topshop pre-fall, jacket by Isabel Marant (similar here), shoes by Saint Laurent Paris, bag by Celine, Tag Heuer watch, necklace, rings and bracelet by Monica Vinader, other jewellery De Beers and Balenciaga.
Dungarees may be a hard one to swallow for some but I’ve been craving a pair ever since I spotted Phillip Lim’s gorgeous leather resort 2013 version, and the green pair that strutted down his SS13 runway back in September. Some may think of it as typical preggy wear, well I don’t, but I do admit it’s quite comfortable these days indeed, and I’ve practically lived in my maternity versions lately.
Anyway, for those of you without a 8 month+ baby bump, this one is my absolute lux favourite, and these and these are great budget alternatives out there right now, ideally styled with a simple loose tee or plaided shirt and sharp pumps.
I’m a jeans-shirt-girl at heart and I’m so missing my simple jeans looks, feels like ages ago!!! Well, I assure you I’ll jumping into a pair of perfect skinnies, a slightly unbuttoned silk blouse with rolled up sleeves, a little tuck, and killer heels as soon as I can, and wouldn’t mind any of these pieces to be included. With a long black coat over the shoulders or a duvet bomber I would have been ready to join fashion-month-circus! Btw, loving the silk shirt by H&M (£39.99) so much that I’ll probably get it now and save it for later.
Happy Monday morning and I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
I spent mine doing lots of 1′sts in my life, finding myself of the top floors of department stores (babystuff) instead of enjoying the “secret” sales on the floors below was definitely a 1′st one. I probably looked liked a big question mark when the helpful staff loaded my arms with “necessary” gadgets I never heard of, or even occurred to me was needed. Well, now it’s all done in one go and the rest of shopping time available in December will be devoted to Christmas gifts and perhaps a few treats for myself, just to release some of the pressure for Santa…..
What’s not a 1′st one is my forever combo of wooly dresses and coats, but that just happens to be my favourite right now. Wool dress and scarf from Cos, coat and boots by Isabel Marant, tights by Wolford, bag by Proenza Schouler, gold bracelet by Monica Vinader and rings by De Beers.
Woop woop, I’m back in London and jumped straight into my heels this morning when I joined a fabulous group of women at Tod’s Christmas lunch at 5 Hertford Street. I wore my new stripey viscose blouse from Zara (a real budget bargain!), a new pair of velvet skinnies by J Brand (maternity-fantastic!), my beloved Agnes by Jimmy Choo, signature bag by Tod’s and a new golden coin bracelet by Monica Vinader (coins are my latest crush!). Now getting ready for next event, wishing you all a fabulous eve too!
November so far (luckily!) has not been too chilly in London, with temperatures around 10 degrees heavy winter gear and hats have hardly been needed, yeah! We all know that can change in the matter of seconds so I’ve been careful to enjoy lighter outfits whenever I could.
As you may have picked up I’m all in for comfortable dressing these days, and when I came across these 2 super soft quilted pieces with elastic waistline (hurra!) I got it on the spot. These are new favourites that I will wear as a one piece by just changing accessories and shoes, or worn as separates.
Now, I’m gonna snuggle up in the sofa in another cosy outfit, take a deep breath and wait for my homemade cantarella pie to finish in the oven, wishing you all a fabulous weekend wherever you are!
Dangling on my wrist a lot lately are these friendship bracelets in silver and rose gold by Monica Vinader that I’ve got engraved to make each one of them more personal. I’ve already gifted friends with these bracelets which all turned successful, just a little tip if you’ve got no idea what to give your good friend who might already have “everything” for Christmas.
Woop woop, Happy Monday Morning and I hope you’ve all had a fab weekend!
On my side my bump is growing a lot these days, and though I know it will certainly get bigger the remaining 3 months I already feel like I’ve swallowed a basket ball, where will this end? Those silhouettes, ala Proenza Schouler, I pictured I would wear this fall feel a million miles away, as fitted just feels the best for now, and the skirts in my wardrobe unluckily don’t come with elastic waistlines (more elastic waistlines to the people please!).
Anyway, here’s what I wore a few days back, my favourite new jeans by J Brand, wool jacket by Hofmann, boots Isabel Marant, wool scarf Ralph Lauren, bag by Proenza and bracelets by Monica Vinader and Cooee.
Happy Monday noon out there, hope your weekend turned out all fabulous!!!
On my side it’s been cozy, still embracing relaxing weekend-time after fashion month and chilled around and about in West London, late brunches and a little shopping. As we’re heading towards chillier days and I’ve been stocking up a little with wool pieces in my wardrobe, like this LBD in wool by IRO that I got while in Paris. Suddenly this classic, comfortable little piece has become my new wardrobe favourite, and if I was a little lazier I would probably slipped it on every morning.
