Honestly

If I said I love getting dressed these days I would be lying, I can easily forget about most things in my wardrobe for now, except from a very few jeans, tops and dresses that are sort of being circulated. And while we are at it, telling the truth I mean, it’s not always easy to embrace all changes to your body while your reflection in the mirror is moving further and further away from yourself.
BUT, being blessed with a strong health, a good spirit, and the light at the end of the tunnel coming closer makes up for it all (something I’m being told all the time!).
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend and have one or two on me, yeah!

Jeans from Mango, top from Topshop, boots and coat by Isabel Marant, watch by Michael Kors and bag (similar here and here) by Chloe.

Limited Edition NY-watch

In courtesy of Michael Kors

For you out there who are fans of Michael Kors watches here’s a little tip. Inspired by the classic runway watch model (a golden favorite in my own wardrobe) Michael Kors will release a limited collection in August in homage to his favorite city, NY. The watch has a diamond-embellished face and features the inscription ‘New York’, a skyline engraving on the back, and comes in a dark leather box with gold accents, I’d say a desirable collectors item for Kors-fans.

Mini

Length of dresses can sometimes be discussed, I mean I love my mini’s but sometimes there’s a very tiny line between a dress or top, like this silk top I got last week labeled “dress” in store. With my 5ft 8in the dress didn’t cover enough for me to be comfortable wearing it like a normal mini, especially cause of the light fabric. When something is as mini as this my “trick” is to wear it with cropped leggings, and voila, any wind throw or bending situation solved.

I wore this on a super hot day this week, silk dress from Topshop Boutique, loafers by Acne, watch Michael Kors, bracelet Cooee, bag Celine and Ray Ban’s.

Surprised

Saturday, day 2 of London fashion week, kicked off with wonderful weather so I took the risk of wearing a short dress with sleeves, but later in the noon temperatures dropped and heavy rain surprised us all at the Somerset House. London Fashion Week’s Daily were used as umbrellas and people fled the scene, quite a funny scenario to observe from my view, safely inside one of the coffee shops. Today however was a different story but I’ll share that with you tomorrow.

I wore dress and sunnies by 3.1 Phillip Lim, boots Topshop, watch Michael Kors, bracelet Margiela, ring YSL and bag Acne.

Yesterday

Hope you all had a lovely Friday and good start of the weekend so far, I for sure did and it was wonderful to be met by warm, sunshine and happy people.

Anyway, this is what I wore yesterday in London when I ran around ticking my million-things-to-do-list and finished off the evening with a dinner at Robuchon.
I wore shorts and bag Acne, denim shirt Zara, shoes Celine and watch Michael Kors.

Tic tac

New in is this oversized golden watch from Michael Kors, it’s huge, much bigger than my old men’s Tagheuer but that’s exactly what I love about it, want to wear it more like a loose bracelet.

Michael Kors SS11

A collection I’ve looked back on lately is Michael Kors spring collection with many fresh looks that I feel like wearing right now, that green dress, crispy blue shirt, loose pants, yes everything, with a touch of tan colored leather.
I know it’s been a lot about shoes here lately and I promise I won’t turn this totally into a shoe blog but notice the sandals, they are all great but these below are exactly what I’ve been looking for, anyone who knows where I can find something similar?

Neck Collar

Images style.com and Jak &Jil

Loving these neck collars as seen on Michael Kors A/W 11-12 show and as there is a risk I would develop an anxiety attack wearing these I would probably go for something “less dramatic” and more comfortable. I’ve been looking around for alternatives without any luck but everyone sends me more or less in the same direction when I ask, to the bondage shops in Soho……. But as I rather hope to find it in a fashion jewellery section my hunt continues so please drop me a line if you have any tip.
