Another week has past and I’v been a really lousy blogger, I’m really sorry for that but in my defends I’ve been spending a little time with family, which sometimes just has to be 1’st priority!

Sartorial-wise my growing baby bump does limit my outfit choices to a degree, and I’ve discovered that most of my tops and jumpers, no matter how oversized they are, won’t work much longer in terms of length, unless I want to flash bare skin in the November chill. Luckily I’ve stocked upon longer and slimmer knitted jumpers and dresses, and you’ll probably see me living in these on colder days ahead along with this coat by Mango, my favourite budget coat in stores this season.
Wishing you all a Happy Halloween week!

Knitted dress by Cos, wool coat by Mango, boots by Phillip Lim, bag by Proenza Schouler, earpiece by Cooee, tights by Wolford, and old leather gloves by H&M.

Before Dark

Jeans, a checked shirt and slippers, something I’ve been sporting a lot on the go lately but never managed to catch on camera. Not this time around either apparently as I had already jumped into my booties by the time I managed to bring the camera out. Speaking of these Dolce heels, I’ve received so many mails from you readers about where to find them, and I can gladly tell you they stock same style model at Net-a-Porter right now.

Images taken in Milan 2 weeks ago, I wore jeans from Mango, old shirt and belt by Acne, booties by Dolce&Gabbana, bag Proenza Schouler and glasses by Mykita.

Grainy gray

I’ve taken far better quality images recently than this grainy iphone shot, but hey, it has to do the job tonight as I’m way too tired to even look in the direction of my camera. Today I’ve been travelling and running around in my new pair of perfectly gray washed, loose-skinny-jeans from Mango. As I need a little more “waistline-room” these days these will do as they are low-waisted, super soft, and a bargain for £29.

We all have a few favorite pieces in our wardrobe that we use season after season, the challenge in this matter to me is to squeeze as many different looks out of each of my favorite piece as possible without having the feeling I’m repeating myself too often. But sometimes you cannot avoid it, we all have our favorites, and honestly I could wear this combo of my old skirt by Acne, parka and heels everyday this cloudy summer. You’ve seen it all before, except the top, the perfect tie dyed camouflage blouse from Mango, a real budget bargain in store now.

Skirt by Acne, new top from Mango, parka by Isabel Marant, sandals and bag by Celine.

Mango lookbook

Mango Lookbook Summer 2012

Hey, I’m back in London, and have loads to catch up on, except for work and updates I’m actually longing to stroll around and see what’s new in stores, hehe, I’ve been missing that part. Anyway, I’m a total sucker for khakis and whites and love the styling in Mango’s lookbook for summer by Geraldine Saglio, tempted to steel the first look one day very soon…..

In my window

I don’t usually buy basics on highstreet as I’m super critical to the choice of fabrics, and shape wise they don’t seem to last long, but from time to time I come across something that has potential, like this cotton jumper from Mango with a a little Stella feel to it.

I’ve been sporting a new belt from Mango today, super happy with it and it’s even more fun that it cost only £17.99, yeah!

Mango Spring 2012 Lookbook

Images Mango

No, this is not a follow up on Isabel Marant’s Etoile lookbook for spring but for highstreet Mango fronted by the same girl Anna Selezneva. If you’re on a tighter budget and fancy the casual-city-chic-Parisian-wibe of Marant, Mango looks like the place to stop by, acid washed + pastells = spring, I feel tempted to check out that white jumper and iron belt myself.

Yesterday noon I met up with a friend in Marylebone being her personal shopper and she ended up buying lots of goodies on the sales. Though I’ve put a constraint on myself for now doesn’t mean I cannot be equally thrilled on behalf of others, it’s so much fun to open some one else’s eyes to what they can wear and helping building their wardrobes, could easily do that 24/7.
The summer is now finally back in London so gotta run out in the sun, have a wonderful Friday noon you too.

Images from yesterday, linen dress Mango, belt Isabel Marant, shoes Margiela, bracelet Intermix, sunnies Ralph Lauren, bag Celine.

Little London

Sorry for lousy posting, ended up late last night until the sun disappeared looking down at little London. I was questioning myself if I should share this address with you or not, my secret garden, a stone throw from my house, a small oasis in the centre of all the business, but off course why not, the roof garden on Trafalgar Hotel is amazing and I spent last eve with my dearest Johanna zipping champagne and enjoying the warm breeze on bare skin.

Pants Mango, silk top Ahsan, shoes Cos, bracelet Proenza Schouler, clutch dkny and sunnies Celine

I know, there’s a lot of shoes on my blog at the moment but after seeing the Vogue spread the other day with Gisele wearing those fantastic tan Vivienne Westwood boots I couldn’t really let it off my mind, hmmm, wouldn’t they all be lovely on summer tanned legs……

  1. Vivienne Westwood, pirate boots, approx £470
  2. Belle Sigerson Morrison, peep-toe ankle boots £285
  3. Mango, canvas and leather boots, £99.90

Today I headed over to my old working environment, the City, what always amazes me when I’m there is the contrast between old brick buildings drowned among the banks with modern architecture and glass surfaces. Unfortunately we where not lucky with the light so in need to go back and play another day.

Need to finish off some work and then ladies night out, have a lovely eve everyone and cheer up, tomorrow it’s Friday!

I wore a super warm alpaca wool knit from Jaeger, jeans Urban Outfitters, tops Cos, old booties from Mango and Mulberry bag.

DVD’s night

On my way home yesterday eve I stopped by HMV to buy some DVD’s, I still haven’t got used to the cheap DVD’s in this country even after living here for years, remember I’m from Norway. I stopped by my favorite Vietnamese take away in Soho and picked up pre ordered food, such a simple place but oh so good.

I wore leather pants Topshop, t-shirt and boots Acne, old cape/coat Mango, bag Alexander Wang and 3 DVD’s in a flashy HMV bag
