As if I haven’t had other things than cozy knits in my head since my last post and all through fashion week, I choose to follow up with this beauty, fashion consultant Bev Malik, that I snapped the other day, wearing one of my favourite knits from J.W Anderson A/W 2012. So wish I’d gotten this one myself, checked+mohair+V-neck, all boxes ticked!
Ok, since I had enough of restless napping days at home waiting for my baby(!) I yesterday decided to do a little street style snapping at Burberry’s in Kensington Gardens where some of my favourite chic girls where parading around, Lena Perminova was one of them, in this perfect mix of high and low, a Burberry Prorsum peplum tweed jacket and skirt by H&M, bag by Analeena.
I don’t know if it was the Zara coat or the Alexander Wang loafers but the simple outfit I wore on day 2 during LFW has popped up on other websites like The Cut, Vogue Nippon and Browns Fashion, I’m honored!
Also came across this one from Marie Claire taken in NY 2 weeks ago all dressed in Scandinavian designs except for the clutch from American Apparel and my Nikon off course.
Today was last day of womenswear in LFW and to be honest I’m looking forward for tomorrow, it’s the day of menswear and then it’s over this time around. I’ve got so many images and things to absorb but here’s some pics I snapped at the last show I went to today, Ashish. I can’t say I’m crazy about this collection but you’ve got some interesting elements in there, lots of knits, shredded denim, british flags, colors and lots of attitude. The show was packed, looked like everyone wanted to catch the last show of womenswear.
Now I really need some sleep to be ready for a long day tomorrow, lets hope for sunshine!
Acne presented their Spring/Summer Collection 2011 yesterday in a small venue at Princess Margaret’s former apartment in Kensington Palace. This is one of my personal favorite brands and everyone who knows me probably picked up on that one by now.
I do have to admit I’m a bit disappointed, nothing really revolutionary or big surprises but Jonny Johansson also said this about his collection “Nothing retro, no references,” on the other side that’s also why I love their design, where each piece shine with the simplicity and can so easily be put together to your own style.
The highlight for me was the red pieces, a fresh breeze into a collection that mainly consisted of black, nudes and neutrals, see the whole collection here
