Outside it’s a grey wet Friday noon but inside I’m all cozed up with Vogue Paris and LOVE’s spring/summer issue, can’t wait to dig into both. Happy weekend to you too!
Meet Kate!
This morning I enjoyed looking through my new beautiful Kate book while sipping to a cup of ginger-mint-tea with fennel and lemon, a new obsession of mine(!), the tea I mean.
If you already are the owner of the book (if not you’ll find it here), and perhaps would like to meet Kate in person, then you can bring it with you tomorrow the 15′th (between 5pm and 7pm), to Marc Jacob’s Bookmarc store in Mayfair and have it signed. If you’re not queueing up for yourself it would sure make a great Christmas gift to a fashion loving friend…….
The Kate Moss Book
Kate by Kate Moss - Rizzoli
If you’re a little nutty about Kate Moss like me, you’ve probably added her soon the be released “Kate”, already to your Christmas wishlist. This book will for sure include some iconic fashion images, and will come in 8 different covers photographed by Mario Testino, Corinne Day, Inez & Vinoodh, Craig McDean, Mert & Marcus, David Sims, Mario Sorrenti, and Juergen Teller. Publishing date November 6′th and yours for £50.
White Light
Ok, it may be miles away of being as catchy as “Too Funky”, but “White Light” based on George Michael’s near death experience last winter, starring super Kate Moss, really is growing on me, and it isn’t down to the Moss effect though she’s as beautiful as always. Anyway, enjoy the freshly released video!
The Face
The Face July 1990
This iconic fashion beauty, Kate Moss, turned 38 yesterday, she’s been around as long as my memory goes and still going strong. Here’s one of Moss first break though jobs, as a 16 year old fronting The Face July issue in 1990, photographed by Corinne Day, in a shoot titled “The 3rd Summer of Love”. Hip Hip Hurra Kate!
Emmanuelle Alt #2
Image via Vogue Paris Live
Emmanuelle Alt continues perhaps playing it safe by putting big names on the cover of Vogue Paris, her second issue, May 2011′s cover stars Kate Moss and I must say I personally like this much more that her first cover. Having that said I fell totally in love with her first spread so I can’t wait to see what’s hiding inside this issue.

I really like this cool and beautiful spread of Kate Moss for Vogue Nippon May issue, photographed by Mert & Marcus.
I’m heading out to a press presentation at Temperley’s, have a lovely late noon!
Indoor
As you see I’m taking a trip down memory lane today, might be a consequence of a very late party yesterday so I’ve stayed indoor the whole today working and going through lots of old images. The luxury of a freelancer who doesn’t need to be at the office at 7am. Now, take away, movie and a good night sleep. Tomorrow’s gonna be a good good day!
Kate Moss last collection for Topshop
Yesterday eve there was a launching party of Kate Moss last collection for Topshop, I didn’t bother going cause I expected it to be too crowded and from what I’ve read I made the right decision. There are some really nice pieces in this collection and it’s now available online, click here.
