Something camel

After searching high and low for the perfect camel coat, which is to me elementary in every wardrobe, my choice landed on this classic specimen that I’ve been eyeing season after season, but somehow never ended up getting in the past. With the “invest-in-your-wardrobe-motto” in the back of my head I finally ended up justifying the deeper pocket dig. And in the knowing that this type of coat will be a very used timeless staple in the years ahead, instead of being shuffled aside and forgotten due to whatever direction trends are moving, it’s justified right there.

Trousers by Studio Nicholson, shirt-dress by Maje (also here), coat by Max Mara (similar by Max Mara here and here), shoes by Jimmy Choo, Chanel bag, RayBan’srings by Tom Wood and diamond earring by Stone Paris.

No matter what’s going on out there I always come back to the classics, so here we go again. Sporting these cropped suit trousers a lot lately, they are real all rounders that I either wear with the matching blazer or pretty much everything else in my wardrobe.

With memories of days in the City in the back of my head I personally always avoid very tailored pieces like this with a white shirt, while I see others manage to make it look everything but office’y, but I’m up for the challenge.
Happy Sunny Sunday you lovely ones!

No matter season and trends, I always come back to the classic pieces, and this season I’ve certainly invested in some of them, like this coat by Stella McCartney, that I after trying on for several seasons, finally decided to strike on. Dusty pink might be huge this season but I personally rather invest in either a black, navy or camel coat, that will last me a long time and not just the coat you wore in 2013.

This is what I wore on one of the London Fashion Week days, before it got too chilly over here. But right now I’m escaping chilly September degrees and hoping for indian summer in Milan, see you all in pasta heaven(!) and wishing you a fabulous weekend!

Dress by Hofmann Copenhagen, cashmere coat by Stella McCartney (in blue here and here), clutch by Celine, diamond necklace by Jennifer Zeuner (here and here), boots by Jimmy Choo (here and here), bracelets and rings by Balenciaga, Ina Beissner, Monica Vinader and De Beers.

Brogues

This year has been a year with lots of firsts on my side, being a first time mum and everything that comes with that aside, there’s a major 1st sartorial-wise, my height has dropped about 10 cm lately as I’ve become addicted to flats!!!
The jungle out there of hot trainers, flat sandals, ballerinas and loafers has never been better I’d say, and never before has my collection of flats been compatible(!) with my heels section. Latest specimen to join me are these studded brogues by Jimmy Choo, quirky, cool and comfy all in one.

Today, a totally different story, only suitable footwear are wellies, oh I love you Rainland!

Leather jacket by Joseph (similar here), shirt by Helmut Lang, wool pants by Studio Nicholson, brogues by Jimmy Choo and Chanel wallet.

Verdict

Sort of feeling these by Jimmy Choo, a pair of nude sandals is a wardrobe essential and right now I cannot recall I have any, hehe!

Noir

Yesterday eve me and my bump took a break from all Christmas turmoil, preparations and overloaded mailboxes, and jumped into an all black outfit, a pair of Jimmy Choo’s, and my new gifted, gorgeously studded Valentino clutch (it’s actually an Ipad bag), and we all had a fab night out on town, heavily needed!

Velvet & Stripes

Woop woop, I’m back in London and jumped straight into my heels this morning when I joined a fabulous group of women at Tod’s Christmas lunch at 5 Hertford Street. I wore my new stripey viscose blouse from Zara (a real budget bargain!), a new pair of velvet skinnies by J Brand (maternity-fantastic!), my beloved Agnes by Jimmy Choo, signature bag by Tod’s and a new golden coin bracelet by Monica Vinader (coins are my latest crush!). Now getting ready for next event, wishing you all a fabulous eve too!

Jimmy’s Agnes and me

Remember my image back in September of Geraldine Saglio where I asked you guys about her perfect pumps? The feedback from you was amazing and with your help we narrowed down the pair to be Jimmy Choo’s Agnes. Mine in suede debuted in the Tuileries sand last week, perhaps not the cleverest choice, but I love them so much I’m considering getting them in nude suede or snake print as well. Extra plus for the heel height of 3.5 inches which is very “walkable” (hoping my parents read this!).

In the mood of…

Loafers spotted at Jimmy Choo last week, I’ve been craving a pair of loafers for months but I can’t decide, hmmm, classic Tod’s, Newbark’s, Jimmy Choo’s and then you have the more bulky ones from Acne, all goes so well with cropped trousers, and perfect when traveling or on the go.

Coffee?

Hehe, I don’t know about you guys but I don’t function without my coffee, totally addicted, but I cant recall I ever needed (nor wanted) a luxurious cup sleeve on my-go-coffee, like these for £95 in leather by Jimmy Choo, totally unnecessary but I wouldn’t say no, perhaps a Christmas treat to someone who’s already got everything?

Reverse

I still regret I didn’t get these loafers back in 2008, Jimmy Choo for H&M, remember? Now I’ve found the right shoes to fill them and for once I took inspiration from high street and upgraded to a more juicy price level.
