A few weeks ago I was kindly asked by De Beers to pop by their beautiful store on Old Bond to pick my favourite pieces for a holiday wish list for their website. Needless to say I had a blast, I mean, trying on the finest jewellery and diamonds of all sizes isn’t really that hard and not something I do on a daily basis.
Here’s my “demure” diamond-dream-wish-list and not very surprisingly I ended up with quite classic delicate pieces that are not too much in your eyes, and can be worn stacked together, on their own or mixed with chunkier costume jewellery, just the way I like it. These beautiful 0.03 carat band rings (starts from £650) for instance are perfect for stacking, or use as pendants on a chain.

Bjørg Jewellery Lookbook 2012
The award winning North-Norwegian jewellery designer, Bjørg, creates jewellery close to my heart, and her latest collection doesn’t disappoint, raw but yet so incredible beautiful.
Her latest video Heresy by Matias & Mathias which is is an extension of the lookbook might not be for the fainthearted so I’m warning you that some of you might find it quite disturbing. But I came across this blog post by the Swedish filmmaker Emil Klang and I couldn’t have said it better myself.
I really like some of the jewellery pieces in Made Her Think‘s Fall collection which is called Fight or Flight. A great storyline, model, styling and work is captured in the fall lookbook.
Morning folks, I’m back in London from the big apple and feel slightly jet lagged but there’s no time for that now.
These images was taken during Sachin+ Babi‘s presentation during NY fashion week the other day and despite that there were several nice pieces in the contemporary collection what really caught my attention was the accessories, especially the heavy dropping earrings, all the models wore them and I simply love them though I’m not really a earring kinda-girl.

The Norwegian jewellery designer Bjørg was the winner of yesterday award. I’ve mentioned her design several times before but it’s worth mentioning again, I love her raw but yet settled details.

I’m not really a jewellery kind of girl, oh, I’ve got plenty in beautiful delicate boxes on display in my bedroom but I hardly ever wear any of it except a few bracelets and rings I don’t even notice are there. But now I really feel like wearing one ear cuff and I think that’s the next thing on my wishing list.
The one above are to die for by Alexander Wang, unfortunately it comes with a price tag same as his handbags so I’m looking for options, not totally the same thing though, more discrete, delicate but still with that raw detail, like these from the Danish brand Line&Jo, any other tip?
