Yesterday I wore a pair of new jeans from J Brand and they must be the most perfect skinny jeans I’ve had for ages, they just needed to be altered and made more fitted around the ankle by my tailor. I wore them with a wool top by Emilio de la Morena, pumps, droopy earrings, and clutch by YSL.
My next buy might be a pair of white denims, I spotted many of the embrodiered jeans by Isabel Marant while in Paris but I’m craving for a plain pair like always chic Emmanuelle Alt, that would also look great tucked into a pair of boots. These, also by Marant, might be a candidate but I don’t like spending too much on a pair of jeans when you can find the perfect fit with a much better price tag, any of you lovely readers have any great tip?
Oki, gotta run, a delayed birthday dinner at a restaurant with a view, can’t wait!
It’s not very inspiring to get dressed in the morning when you know it’s probably gonna be pouring down the whole day like the weather forecast predicted, luckily they are wrong from time to time and between heavy showers there are glimpse of sunshine. Though I rather want to wear summery dresses and sandals I’ve been dressing very functional lately, with a big umbrella in my bag, fun!
However, today looks like a wonderful day and I wish you a good one too!
Images taken yesterday, I wore jeans and belt Isabel Marant, shirt Cos, jacket Zara, shoes Miu Miu, bag Celine and Ray Ban’s
Earlier these week I bought these denims at H&M for the price of £19 and I had in mind to rip them up in the way I wanted, for now there’s one hole as a starter and it fells a lot safer to play around with a budget pair of jeans like these when you’re not very talented or brave when it comes to DIY-projects. I really wish I was though but unfortunately I never inherited my mum’s genes in that area, as for now I ship it to her when I need something more ambitious done.
Anyway as a tip H&M’s got several jeans in store now for a good price in all shapes and models.
Today I wore an old net jumper also H&M, courts Cos, jacket Vibe Johansson and bag Celine
Today I managed to squeeze in a lovely lunch with my dear Johanna at our regular place in Covent Garden, rushed home to finish off some work and then ended the evening with a girls dinner at Le Garrick in the company of my sweetie Julie, a really girly day without having in mind at all it’s the 8th of March. Perhaps it was on our minds unconsciously, who knows.
We’ve been blessed with some really sunny weather in London this week, I cross my fingers and toes it won’t turn having the surprise snow in 2009 freshly in mind, welcome spring!
I wore jeans Zara, boyfriend’s shirt Alexander McQueen, belt Isabel Marant, boots Acne, necklace Tiffany’s, bag Mulberry and Ray Ban’s
I felt in the mood of flared leg pants today and dug out my old jeans from Acne, I know they are not the most flared legs pants out there but for someone who is used to stick their legs into skinny jeans it’s quite a different feeling. Met up with my friend Sarah on Brompton Road and had a great brunch followed by a swing into Harrods were we fell in love with a gorgeous sheep fur jacket from Acne in a mix of black and grey pieces. Ended up at Laduree where Sarah bought her evening food, she had me staring when she bought 4 cakes for 2 people, not bad for a petite woman ha!
Jeans Acne, knit and shoes Zara, shearling jacket vintage and bag Biasa
I’m apparently in a jeans period again and my favorite jeans brand is without any doubt the Swedish brand Cheap Monday, I’ve got several in different models and colors, simply love them. In UK you find them at Urban Outfitters for approx £45.
