Yesterday H&M Studio, the new name for H&M’s seasonal collection of key pieces, presented it’s autumn 2014 show at Grand Palais in Paris. Loads of wearable, femasculine glam pieces on budget, that will be available in stores worldwide from September 4, yeah!
My everyday outfits these days are pretty far away from Haute Couture, but it’s the reality for most of us and that’s perfectly fine too. This week I’ve been out on the run a lot, and though I’m beyond tired of what’s left in my wardrobe I can still fit into, and my mobility slightly reduced, there’s no point of complaining about it. Instead I choose to focus on the positive things, like my new boots I got this week, that suddenly boosted my spirit a little, the perfect treat.
And now it’s weekend, yeah, wishing you all a fabulous one too!!!
When I come across great fabrics for a good price I strike, well almost, I’m so regretting I didn’t look a little harder for the white version of this cashmere turtleneck on the day of the MMM for H&M launch 2 weeks ago, especially now when I’ve got the hots for cozy warm dresses. And like a friend said the other day, ” that’s a lot of cashmere for £69!”, can’t argue that.
Yesterday I had a closer look on the highly anticipated MMM for H&M collab that will hit stores in a couple of weeks. I have to admit I’ve been kind of sceptic to the final result ever since the collaboration was announced, simply cause I didn’t see how the usual great Margiela quality would translate into highstreet prices. Well, scepticism aside, the collection is great, in fact my favourite H&M collab so far, and the fabrics are absolutely approved.
Overall the collection is quite voluminous and oversized which is right up my alley, but certain pieces like the oversized (and one sized!) woolcoat for instance, sizes quite big, and I felt a little drowned in it with my 5ft’8in. However, it’s still one of my favourite pieces along with the blue turtle knit, and wide leg suit…..and many other beautiful things both in the women and men’s(!) collection.
Well hello there, if the freshly released campaign images of the collaboration Maison Martin Margiela + H&M are anything to go by I say hurray!!!!! The images photographed by Sam Taylor-Johnson are absolutely stunning and the pieces looks fantastic, those coats are officially on my wishlist, so I cannot wait to feel the fabrics up close.
The collection will be available in stores and online on November 15th.
It’s Saturday morning again and I can’t get my head around how fast this week has passed. Some of you may have noticed my-not-so-regular-posts this week and I’m really sorry for that, but I’ve had a million things to do that needed to be finished off before this weekend, and sadly my dear blog have taken the effect, but I hope to make it up here in terms of content and enthusiasm. On Monday morning I’m heading over to Paris couture weekend to soak up all the beauty and I’ll bring you along with me.
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend!
Yesterday London weather was a slightly chiller and more windy so I wrapped up a little, I wore an old leather gilet from H&M, jeans by J Brand, cotton tee by Proenza Schouler, sandals Celine, bag by Givenchy and Ray Ban’s.

Wow, unconfirmed rumors are saying that H&M’s next designer collaboration will be with fashion house Martin Martin Margiela. If this buzz will be confirmed true I’ll salute it though I’m very curious how it would add up. I mean, the Margiela house is known for more than edgy cuts, and I wonder how they will manage to “re-pack” their gorgeous luxurious fabrics into highstreet price level, stay tuned….
Hey ya’ll, hope you’ve had an enjoyable weekend so far, I’ve been cuddling up at home myself and taking things very slowly, hence the relaxing outfit on my Saturday walk. After a whole week in jeans I jumped into these comfy pants by Marant which despite the resemble to gym wear can be quite dressy, this was the relaxed side of them though, but I ‘d love to wear them with an open loose top, sandals and a little bag for the next party. If any impressions are made on anyone it would perhaps be the girl in sweatpants, but I prefer that instead of the girl in onion or chili.
Pants by Isabel Marant, jumper H&M (old), vintage jacket, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Hermes, Ray Ban’s and bag Celine.
Earlier this week I finally got to wear my Marni for H&M sandals, I’m really impressed how comfortable they are and the fit is just perfect. As I’m a big sceptic regarding high street shoes I always gosh about them when some slip through the filter and convince me.
Now, on the run out in more dance floor friendly shoes, first stop an event at Acne, wishing you all a fabulous Thursday eve!
Latest news on H&M collabs, fabulous Anna Dello Russo is to design an accessories collection for the Swedish retailer that will be available in stores on October 4th. It will include jewelry, sunglasses, shoes and bags, and my guess not for a wallflower, expect bold, colorful, over the top, extravaganza, well I’m sure you got it!
