Humid

Saturday in NY was super humid and I was so glad I’d slipped into loose pants and flat shoes when I stepped out. Initially I wanted to wear these new silk pants by Tibi with heeled sandals, but on the day it was simply not an option in the heat, and it was pure freedom laxing around in this outfit.
I wore silk-crepe pants and top by Tibi, shoes by Miu Miu, old bag Helmut Lang, bracelet Cooee and Ray Ban’s.

Now I’m back in a chilly grey London where Fashion Week continues tomorrow, what can I say, home sweet home…..

More resort and I can only say yes to Helmut Lang’s Resort collection 2012 and these are my favorite looks, loving the rusty orange which was also seen in loads in Acne’s fall collection, a color scale that I bet we’ll see more of, at least I hope. Look number 2 from left please fly in my window………

Today I’ve taken some time off everything, just some shopping, a glass of wine on a french bistro and now getting ready for a great dinner at Hawksmoor, a very good excuse to leave my booties at home and jump into some really high heels. Have a lovely Saturday eve wherever you are!

Stolen

Yesterday I stole my boyfriend’s new leather jacket from Jil Sander, I love the clear blue color of it and the leather oh so soft, I will continue to encourage him to buy super fitted stuff so that I can borrow it without looking like I’m drowning.
It was a cold day indeed but as I hardly spent any time outside I survived.

Covent Garden

Met up with my friend Lawrence in Covent Garden today and he helped me to pick out the right equipment for my camera, not that I knew I needed it but apparently I did so thanks Lawrence for helping me spending though I rather have saved those pennies towards a Celine box bag.

Today I caught up with my dear Johanna on new adventures, ended up buying chinese take away and Tiger beer in China town to brunch at my place.

Next week I might go to Oslo for the Blog Award I was nominated to, unfortunately I’m not one of the last finalists, but I’m happy and never expected to be nominated in the first place after blogging only for 4 months. This is pretty much how I’ve dressed this week, layered white shirt and knit, not so exiting but perfect if you want to keep warm with some sort of style.

When I stepped out of the door yesterday I wore layers of wool, from inner to outer, yet still it was suffering cold and this comes from a person who grew up above the Arctic Circle. It’s suppose to be even colder during the weekend, Mayday!

Thank you guys for your advice regarding the camera, I’ve checked into it and done my research and now I’m on my way out to get it, weeee!

The white knitted bomber

A few weeks ago I helped out my friend Jill to shoot a selection of knitwear from Topshop’s new range GOODONE as I’ve posted about earlier.

This bomber was my personal favorite and would love it in my own wardrobe, as you may know by now I prefer it clean and simple most of the time so I paired it with my wool harem pants from Helmut Lang and heels Acne.

R E D

I met up with Kaz on Old Bond Street today to enjoy the Fashion’s Night out in London. The drinks, canapes and service was excellent everywhere we went but I have to admit I was expecting more tempting offers on a day like this, 10% is ok but it’s not enough to make people go crazy. I ended up climbing into a Moschino Shopper Bag later during the evening so I guess I went slightly crazy myself, I’m fully aware of what irony is about and I’m blessed with some self distance so this one is on me!

My red leather pants have been following me all around the world this summer, unworn, wrapped in silk paper. I bought them a few months ago, planning to wear them with a white top and killer heels during my summer adventures but it was always to hot to even think about wearing them, can you image tight leather pants in 35 degrees.
