Green day

Today I managed to squeeze in a lovely lunch with my dear Johanna at our regular place in Covent Garden, rushed home to finish off some work and then ended the evening with a girls dinner at Le Garrick in the company of my sweetie Julie, a really girly day without having in mind at all it’s the 8th of March. Perhaps it was on our minds unconsciously, who knows.

We’ve been blessed with some really sunny weather in London this week, I cross my fingers and toes it won’t turn having the surprise snow in 2009 freshly in mind, welcome spring!

New in, today I got some shopping done, included these two budget trousers from Zara, what made me most happy was actually the slightly oversized green cotton jeans with ankle zippers, a bargain for £25.

I want to wear flared black pants and a colorful top like this paired with my future green coat straight away but I don’t have any of them right now. What I should do is to focusing on my billion-things-to-do-list and hopefully if I’m lucky my flight will take off tomorrow.

I’m not over the red color yet even if it’s been a huge part of 2010. But I do prefer the orange red more than deep red and I’ve got the feeling I’ll gonna love it a whole lot longer cause the more I’ve stared at Jil Sander’s Spring Collection 2011 the last couple of months, the more sure I am that I’m gonna wear these eye catching block colors for next year. It’s like the mismatch of strong colors grows on you. I’ve mentioned my crawings for a green coat earlier but I’m also keeping my eyes open for a suit like above even more orange.

This last summer I had ambitions of pairing my red leather pants with a strong pink colored shirt, a color combo I love, but I ended up never sporting the look, will do again if I haven’t change my mind by then.

Green

When the temperature decides to go up again, probably not before spring, I hope to be strolling around in this green coat from Jil Sander Spring 2011 Collection, until then I decide to wrap up warm in wool and fur surviving the cold and boom the spring is here, ok, in like 4 months time……
