Tibi SS12
I loved Tibi’s show yesterday, simple clean cuts in soft pastels, mustard and green, perfectly polished styled. Though the color scale, crispy white shirts and easy going fresh looks are right up my street, my favorite look was a pair of green printed wide legged pants worn with a cropped leather top. Denim on denim
Yesterday I managed to get my outfit taken over here with my own camera and I finally got to wear my denim shirt by Celine. As I’m a little into denim on denim looks I paired it with my denim looking shorts by Acne.
Now, on the run out but I’m gonna check in a little later on, have a wonderful day!

Heikki Salonen
Did you know that reindeer leather is beautifully soft and delicate and is used just in the same way as cow and lamb leather, well, I have to admit the thought never really crossed my mind before I saw the fall collection from the Finnish designer Heikki Salonen during London Fashion Week.
His collection featured some really nice leather pieces, among them a dress, pants and top and unisex boots and I like the idea that use of reindeer leather fulfill the criterias of ethical and sustainable fashion which I give high scores to, feels so modern in a way.

Love
Everything I’ve been told about NY has been spot on so far, positive and negative and my conclusion after spending almost a whole day here is that I love this city!
After a bumby ride yesterday, eeehh, lost my first flight, I was lucky to be escorted from the airport to the hotel in a limo as the taxi company had run out of normal taxis, luxurious indeed.
Anyway I’ve been out the whole day trying to get to know my new love and it was freezing cold. After snapping around the fashion week arena and freezing off my poor fingers I know what I’m gonna look for tomorrow if there’s any time for shopping, fingergloves.
Gotta run, dinner out on Strip House, my first NY steak!

Images of the Australian model Abbey Lee have popped up everywhere lately and the images taken pre-post shows during Fashion Week month shows clearly why. One day she decided to cut her hair and bleached it, now she’s got a completely new look, these images speak for them selves, this girl is soo cool!!!!

Todays
Today I went to Ada Zanditon Spring/Summer 2011 presentation which was a beautiful event and even with my camera I managed to get some ok images from the show, I’ll post about it later.
Right now I’m preparing for my fabulous mum who’s coming to visit for a few days and soak up whats left of Fashion Week. I need to run to my nearest Tesco and fill up the fridge, I think last time there was something close to a Norwegian standard filled up fridge in my kitchen was in July when my brother visited. Gotta run!
