I’ve been going through my images from fashion week month this weekend and there are still so many I haven’t posted yet. Like these stylish ladies that clearly prove that a red dress doesn’t make you blend into the wall. Alexa Chung is wearing a dress and clutch by Valentino, Natalie Massenet‘s wearing a crepe dress by Lover (on sale right now!) and bag by Jil Sander.
Ladylike
After the fashion month that just passed I can say I’m so over the sparkling Miu Miu shoes that popped up on every scene, I was already so over them when I left NY but their appearance in all colors continued their parade in London and Paris. But I do love many of Miu Miu’s A/W 11-12 dresses, though some are perhaps a little too ladylike for many of us, I think this woman hits it off so well in this floral crepe dress, looking just as fresh as the embellished flower prints.
PFW day 6
Paris Fashion Week is over and I headed back to London late yesterday eve, I’ve had such an amazing week, the energy surrounding the shows, the couture, people and Paris at it’s high summer peak have been fantastic, my luggage is filled with so much inspiration and I’ve got so much I want to share with you guys.
Speaking of weather I did a few purchases over there that worked perfect in the hot summer breeze and will work just as well for more chilly days to come. This silk dress by Isabel Marant is one of them and I will wear it with opaque tights and knitwear on colder days.
Images taken on PFW day 6, the day of Celine, Hermes and Givenchy and I wore sandals by Balenciaga, bag Acne, ring YSL, watch Michael Kors, bracelet Hermes and Ray Ban’s.
Oh my Wang
Speaking of Wang, August is soon over (Help!) alongside the fresh summer tan and I still haven’t got the chance to wear my beautiful asymmetric long dress in silk from Alexander Wang that I came across on a great sale a long while ago. Not much time left this season so perhaps I’ll bring it along when I go to Paris for festivities this weekend, praying for good weather….
Armed
Today I stopped by the Acne store at Dover Street, pre-fall collection finally start to roll in but I’m mostly looking forward to the main collection to hit the stores, unfortunately it won’t be for a while.
The sun is shining between clouds in London but keeping last month heavy and sudden rain freshly in mind I’m scared of leaving the house without being fully armed. Anyway, this is what I wore today, dress and bracelet Isabel Marant, old denim waistcoat Bik Bok, sandals Topshop, watch Michael Kors, sunnies Ralph Lauren and bag Celine.
Florals
I don’t consider myself very girly, at least when it comes to colors and cute things, never been the princess type but obviously something’s happening, floral patterns on me is not seen very often but this morning I went on a treasure hunt in my closet and dug out this dress from Acne I bought like 3-4 years ago for a wedding, love it!
Now, finish off work and then Lebanse out, did anyone say hummus?
Happy
Starting to get used to this island life and find myself waking up early morning feeling rested, must be the combo of warm, sunshine, relaxation and perhaps more importantly, early nights. Cannot recall last time I even considered calling it a day before midnight, well, here I do and it’s wonderful, perhaps a good routine to bring a long home…….
Dress from H&M’s Conscious Collection, bikini also H&M, sunnies Celine and Havaianas
Koma for Topshop
Oh, what great news, David Koma, one of my favorite London designers that I’ve posted about several times before has produced a capsule collection for Topshop. The collection marks one of the most premium and limited-edition collections Topshop has ever produced and consist of 5 beautiful pieces that will range from £100 to £350 and will be in store from February 16th.
New Year’s Eve
Yesterday eve was a blast, and so far this year has been pretty good, I simply have a good feeling about this year ahead. All my plans yesterday about booking a taxi before hand ended up in nowhere (did I mention getting wiser with the years?) and as they practically close down the traffic in the West End on New Year’s Eve I ended up sporting a taxi bike to get to the restaurant, not recommended in a short dress in December. After a fabulous dinner at the Spanish part of Aqua observing the firework at London Eye from the balcony we headed over to a night club to catch up with a group of friends.
I danced through the night in a dress from Lanvin for H&M, heels Cos, leather clutch American Apparel, ear cuff Line&Jo and pink lips.
