Enjoy the Silence
It’s Friday noon so lets celebrate with Dior’s latest video ‘Secret Garden’, filmed in Versailles by Inez and Vinoodh accompanied by one of my favorite bands through times Depeche Mode’s ‘Enjoy the Silence’. I’m so weak for fashion films when the image and soundtrack come together and create a little magic moment, and this is surely one of them, enjoy!

Distressed
Hi guys, I feel so sorry for my blog being neglected this week but I finally begin to see a light at the end of the tunnel, yeah! My utility outfits continues, denim, shirts and khaki jackets are favorites at the moment, and in this moving process I’ve rediscovered old favorites, like this vintage army jacket and my old time love a men’s shirt by Dior, perhaps I should be moving more often?

The most buzzed about shoes-to-fill of 2011 in the fashion industry has to be who’s gonna take the lead as creative director at Dior after Galliano’s sudden break-up. After 9 months of speculations latest rumor has it that Marc Jacobs, Tisci and others are out of the running and that Raf Simons is in discussions for the job.
If this turn out to be true I think it’s a little odd match, clean and minimalist Raf Simons at extravagant Dior? Personally I hope he stays in his seat at Jil Sander’s and continue to deliver his beautiful minimalist collections with a touch of couture.

Riccardo Tisci replaces Galliano

The final choice of who’s gonna replace Galliano at Dior has landed on the Italian designer Riccardo Tischi who presented his collection for Givenchy in Paris this last Sunday.
It has been confirmed by insiders but a press release is still not out.
