Being a black cat and all I can’t help loving an all black editorial from time to time. Some may say black looks don’t translate that well through images like power colours and prints, but if it comes in a gorgeous B&W package like this it certainly speaks to me, and yes, finding it inspiring too. Vogue Paris March 2014, Karlie Kloss photographed by David Sims, and styling by Emmanuelle Alt.
I cant help but loving Balmain’s beautiful atmospheric campaign which includes my absolute dream pieces this coming fall seen on beauty Nadja Bender. When I came across Zara‘s latest campaign fronted by ever-so-cool Freja I couldn’t help having a feeling of deja-vu, as some of the images and atmosphere has some striking resemble. Perhaps explained that they are both lensed by David Sims, who by the way is the man behind many cool campaigns this season. On the other hand I’m not surprised to see Balmain inspired pieces in Zara but perhaps that they’ve both been captured in similar themes by the same photographer, well just a thought…..
It’s Halloween and I’m suppose to go to a masquerade party tonight, just wish I had a floor sweeping dress like this in my wardrobe. This “War Horse”-inspired spread, styled by Grace Coddington and photographed by David Sims in Vogue US November issue, is incredible beautiful and Arizona looks absolutely stunning, on the other hand, when doesn’t she.
