Hello from a sunny Covent Garden where I’ve soaked up this lovely summery Sunday at an outdoor serving, enjoying Moules-frites, pimms and great street music, perfect activities after a late night out. I’ll post some outfit images within short.
Yesterday’s birthday party was fab and ended late so today has been a quite relaxed day. I dared to step out with bare legs and it was wonderful, though my feet are scary pale.
While most people crave for burgers and other junks on a day after like this, to me nothing beats a casserole of moules-fries, majones and a cold beer and that’s exactly what i enjoyed in Covent Garden today.
Pants Isabel Marant, knit Helmut Lang, jacket Vibe Johansson, bag Alexander Wang and sandals Kurt Geiger
Yesterday eve after finishing of work from home I ran out to a french bistro around the corner, Le Garrick, the 3rd time this week, I’ve got the hots for their small dishes and the goat cheese salad must be the best I’ve ever tasted, the magic is due to the sauce.
Oki, I’m on the run out for brunch, have a lovely Friday noon you too!
Casual outfit, jeans Cheap Monday, top Acne, coat Oasis, heels Louboutin, bag Mulberry and a tired face.
Today I managed to squeeze in a lovely lunch with my dear Johanna at our regular place in Covent Garden, rushed home to finish off some work and then ended the evening with a girls dinner at Le Garrick in the company of my sweetie Julie, a really girly day without having in mind at all it’s the 8th of March. Perhaps it was on our minds unconsciously, who knows.
We’ve been blessed with some really sunny weather in London this week, I cross my fingers and toes it won’t turn having the surprise snow in 2009 freshly in mind, welcome spring!
I wore jeans Zara, boyfriend’s shirt Alexander McQueen, belt Isabel Marant, boots Acne, necklace Tiffany’s, bag Mulberry and Ray Ban’s
Yesterday was the Sunday I’ve longed for, spent the whole day with my man, walking in Covent Garden, an improvised brunch at Yauatcha, followed by cinema, “The King’s Speech” was a really great movie, fantastic performances of all 3 main characters, highly recommended, I almost turned into a royalist for a moment, perhaps due to Colin Firth, who I’ve had a secret crush on since I was like 13.
I wore leather dress Zara, my boyfriend’s jumper, leather jacket Vibe Johansson, booties Robert Clergerie, bag Mulberry and Ray Ban’s
Yesterday I had a stroll in the rain in Covent Garden, watched Arsenal loose in a football pub and warmed up on chinese chicken sweet-corn soup in china town.
Lately I’ve only been able to snap my casual outfits, I wore a beautiful new dress when I went out on a girls night on Saturday eve but I’ll show you another time. Sorry for the angry look in these images, really I wasn’t, simply Sunday tiredness I guess.
Rain coat Cos, knit Isabel Marant, leather skirt H&M, booties Zara, bag Mulberry
Met up with my friend Lawrence in Covent Garden today and he helped me to pick out the right equipment for my camera, not that I knew I needed it but apparently I did so thanks Lawrence for helping me spending though I rather have saved those pennies towards a Celine box bag.
I wore new knit Helmut Lang, jeans Cheap Monday, jacket Zara, bag American Apparel, booties Robert Clergerie, watch Tagheuer and Prada sunnies
Today I took my timeout, strolling around in my hood, went to cinema and to see Black Swan followed by a good dinner at Arbutus. The movie is fantastic, Portman’s performance is outstanding and the clothes designed by Rodarte are so beautiful. In fact I’m still slightly out of balance after watching the movie, swans and ballet are my achilles as I’ve posted earlier and I’ll probably never forgive my dad for taking me out of ballet school as a child and glued me to a pair of alpine skies instead. Well, I guess you cannot change your past right.
When I stepped out today in my leather jacket I met a cold wall so I ran up to my 5’th floor and grabbed the nearest coat as I was running late for lunch with my friend Johanna in Covent Garden, at least I stayed warm. So much for those early spring days but the day was beautiful and sunny.
Dress Cos, leather jacket Topshop, coat Stine Goya, boots Acne, bag Mulberry
Today I met up with my sweetie Johanna for brunch and girl talk at Le Pain Quotidien in Covent Garden with the background sound of violinists at the Piazza, beautiful. Can’t wait for warmer temperatures, sunshine and long brunches outside.
After just finishing off some work I’m on my way out, party at friends’s house, have a lovely Friday eve you too!
Wool skirt American Apparel, top & scarf Cos, leather jacket Topshop, boots Acne and bag Longchamp.

Last Friday I tried a new good address, Hawksmoor, a british steakhouse in Sevel Dials in Covent Garden and it was excellent. This is the place to go for people who fancy a high quality steak and it managed to get on my top 3 list for steak places in London. What can I say, the image speaks for itself and this lovely cut was only for 2 people.
The entrance of this place is so discrete, I walked down the stairs and started off with a drink in the bar, when we were told the table was ready we were guided into a big hall, completely fully seated, felt like I was given access to the underground secret society for meat lovers. The atmosphere and wine list excellent, my only complain though was that the service was a bit slow, took us 3 hours from start to finish, but hey, perhaps they just wanted their guest to enjoy the meal in piece, the meat codex.
As for all great addresses in London a booking is necessary, even weeks beforehand, in this place I would recommend you to even prebook your preferred cut of meat as well, otherwise you’re risking they’ve run out of it.
Ok, finishing off some work now, feels like I’ve been running late the whole day and just missed a press event. Going for dinner at my turkish place Sofra later, grilled halloumi here I come!
A cute tourist I met in Covent Garden, Beiru from Singapore, snapped me today, thank you Beiru! I wore boyfriend’s white McQueen shirt, leather dress Zara, snood American Vintage, boots Acne, coat H&M, bag Mulberry
At the moment there are some exiting things going on in my life, changes, opportunities and flat hunting. It’s not a secret for those who knows me that I’m not very fund of drastic changes, I can never throw things away and hate making crucial decisions, at the same time I get bored of routines, embrace challenges and always adapt quickly, but it’s always that time before the storm if you know what I mean…..
Taken yesterday in Covent Garden Piazza after a late dinner at Sofra, jacket Zara, pants and knit Whistles, boots Acne, bag Mulberry
Yesterday eve I discovered a turkish restaurant, Sofra in Covent Garden where they played Mozart in the background. Wonderful turkish dishes were on the menu but also more international ones like black cod and goat cheese salad, I’ve got a feeling this place’s gonna be visited often. As this place is surrounded by theaters they serve pre-theater menus for a very reasonable price, good to keep in mind if you’re heading to the West End for a theater eve out.
Rules are made to be broken so I ended up all in leather, skirt Zara, jacket Topshop, turtle neck Cos, boots Acne and bag Alexander Wang
