Aahh, this weekend passed on too quickly, I’ve hardly started on my-to-do-list, and honestly it wasn’t so long to begin with. I guess the darker chillier rainy days start to get to me. However, we’ve had a few glimpses of clear skies this week and I made sure to be out there soaking it up leaving my heavier winter gear at home.
Paris was wonderfully warm this week so at the day of Chanel and Givenchy I decided to wear something not too figure hugging and jumped into this airy voluminous skirt and blouse that kind of looked like a one piece when they came together. I love pieces like this that can be styled and put together in various ways, which is something I always keep in mind when feeling tempted in stores, for us normal living souls it’s about maximizing it’s utility right?
As always when it comes to travels in my life decisions are made in the last minute, so yesterday tickets for 2 weeks in Asia were booked for relaxing days on a beach somewhere and to visit family, yeah! How I’m gonna find time is a different story, but I’m jumping on a flight to Bangkok on Saturday and these new bikini cuties from Cos are coming along.
Barclays ATP final yesterday was great, I’ve turned into an enthusiastic tennis fan, something I’d never thought would happen in a million years, cause where I’m from, far up in Norway, it’s all about winter sports and football. Luckily we evolve in life, would be boring if not, like I’ve done into longer skirt length this fall, I still love my mini’s but I’ve totally fallen for knee lengths, and this scuba fabric skirt from Cos is among my favorites.
Wishing you all a kick-off week!
Images taken yesterday, I wore a skirt from Cos, jumper Topshop, jacket Vibe Johansson, booties Whyred, bag Acne, ring Pamela Love and sunnies Phillip Lim.
My weekend kicked off Friday eve with a cozy dinner at Aqua Nueva, it doesn’t score my highest point as the best Spanish restaurant in town food wise, but it has a great atmosphere, highly recommended if you’re in party mood. Today has been a chilling day, nothing on the agenda, except a looong brunch and cinema, Dream House, which was worth seeing.
Now, good wines at home and nothing more, wonderful! Wishing you all a lovely end of the weekend too!
Today I wrapped up warm in stirrup trousers from Cos, denim shirt, bag and shoes by Celine, coat Oasis, new wool scarf by Acne and watch Tagheuer.
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I for sure did with my best friend visiting, we spent a fab girly time together, shopping, dinners out, hours on the dance floors and lack of sleep, well, you all know what I mean.
Another friend visiting from Paris this weekend brought along my new booties by Isabel Marant, yeah, Christmas arrived early this year. I’ve posted about them before and initially wanted them in navy, but every time I’ve tried them on in stores I’ve ended up walking out with another pair of shoes, and when I finally decided to get them they were sold out practically everywhere in that color, typically! These ones will do, just need to get used to the popping bordeaux color when I look down at my feet.
New in are these incredible soft dark brown leather gloves from Cos, I always tend to freeze so easily on my hands so gloves are one of the things I never leave home without during winter. What I’m still looking for are a nice (and warm!) pair of finger gloves as I’m always carrying around my camera.
So sorry folks for my absence and bad updates the last couple of days, I’ve had a million things to do and a lack of energy but now I’m back I promise, and I’ll be better doing outfit posts in the time ahead.
Today I woke up obviously leaning towards the darker androgynous side, perhaps knowing that I would get my hair pleated later on for a change, and just to out balance the feminine plaits. Images taken of my sweet friend, the man behind the Bontonist, thank you Giorgio!
I wore cashmere blazer by Topshop Boutique, top Isabel Marant, pants Cos, shoes Prada, bag Celine, bracelet Margiela and watch Michael Kors.
Now, jumping into a dress and stilettos, drinks out in the London night, wishing you all a wonderful eve!
I’ve always had a weakness for knitwear dresses with a turtle neck, not the most exciting garment in the world I know, but to me a favorite on chilly days when I just feel too lazy to think nor be creative. As I woke up a little late on Sunday due to heavy partying out, that was exactly what I felt like when I headed for a cozy Italian dinner in Covent Garden, bless Sundays!
Knitted dress Cos, coat Isabel Marant, shoes Celine, clutch Helmut Lang, Ray Ban’s, watch Tagheuer and bracelet Margiela.
On Saturday I dug out these soft leather pants from Cos in my wardrobe, one of my favorite pieces last year and I’ve got no plans of forgetting about them very soon either. The jumper is by Nowhere and I’m really positive surprised by the quality, every time I’ve worn it strangers have commented on it, one girl in a restaurant even sent the waiter over to ask me where it was from, so thumbs up!
Anyway, I wore this on Saturday noon when I was chilling in my hood and got pampered by my hairdresser before the big party, I wore leather pants from Cos, knit by Nowhere, clutch YSl, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, sunnies Phillip Lim, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela, necklace Tiffany’s and ring Pamela Love for Topshop.
Sorry, don’t have much time to either upload images or say much, I’m soon heading out the door for a party, in fact my own party, tomorrow’s my birthday but tonight’s the big bang and I guess I for once should be on time to welcome the guests, or perhaps I’ll do it the American-sweet-16-way, making a grand entrance after all guests have arrived, no, I’ll skip that.
Wishing you all a fun night too, Ciao!
Here are some details I wore earlier today and I’ll do a whole outfit post tomorrow. Leather pants Cos, knit Nowhere, clutch YSL, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela and Chanel’s Black Pearl on my nails.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend so far, luckily there’s still something left of it and I’m gonna fill it with a brunch in Soho and cinema later on, perfect Sunday activities.
I love the combination of blue and green and on Friday I finally got to wear this wool skirt from Acne’s pre-fall collection, except from being warm and cozy it’s cleverly lined with a jersey mini skirt, just in case you get caught by the wind or you’re doing a spin.
Top from cos, leather vest H&M, boots Topshop, bag Celine, watch Tagheuer and bracelet Margiela.
Since I got back from Paris I’ve only been wearing cozy knitwear, can’t get enough of them, and until the weather requires warm jackets I’m gonna keep mine on. I’m so thrilled I finally got to wear my Celine loafers that I bought a couple of weeks ago, haven’t been able to wear them earlier due to my little foot accident, I hopefully woke up every morning in Paris trying to get them on, but no. This Sunday though my foot slipped right into, and gosh they are comfortable, has some kind of magic pillow sole inside.
Oki, gotta run to join a fab birthday girl for dinner, have a lovely eve you too!
I wore knit from Zara, jeans Cos, watch Michael Kors, shoes and bag Celine.
