WC2 to SW5

After years in the heart of London surrounded by theatres, traffic, tourists, roadworks and a constant buzz I’m finally settled in a completely different beautiful environment. Looking out of the window seeing a garden with flowers blooming instead of staring straight into a brick wall is just wonderful and that’s one of the things I appreciate the most except for my new bigger wardrobe space. West End was a blast, and I’ll miss it a bit, but bye bye for now and welcome Kensington!!!

Practical

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this weekend and for the first time this year it was warm enough for me to stroll around in sandals and t-shirt, ok, I carried around a jacket as well knowing it would be cooler later in the day.
I prefer to keep my outfits pretty simple in these moving days and constantly carry around a pair of sneakers just in case I need to roll up my sleeves.

In transition

It’s transitional days indeed, in more than one way, I’m longing to wear bare legs but the temperature is not really there yet, so the opaques are still hanging on. Then there is this moving process that moves so slowly, wish it could all be done at once, and then I try to squeeze in a million other things at the same time, the furniture is delayed so I guess next week I’ll be camping on my new floor.

But in all this “waiting” there are so many expectations and wonderful things to be positive about, like the other day when I met up with my lovely heavily pregnant girlfriend in Covent Garden, who’s actually due this week, needless to say she’s also in transition, and being a great sport she snapped me from the outdoor bench I insisted she should sit down and rest on, thank you Julie dearest and good luck!
