I love my Belle Du Jour that goes with almost everything, but I wouldn’t mind one in these seasonal colors, especially in this lemon hue, sweet!
The sea calls
I haven’t been the greatest fan of these Christopher Kane clutches but after I captured this PVS clutch in the hands of a lovely young man I wouldn’t mind getting it in a seafoam shade myself, need an injection of color right now in order to survive the darkness out there.
I’m blue
Yes, my choice landed on this clutch from YSL that I’ve kept my eyes on but ideally wanted in burgundy, as I didn’t find it in the larger size model, I decided to go for blue instead. But blue will do it for me and I love in the mix of the colors I like, blue-white, blue-brown, blue-green, blue-purple, blue-black…..
The clutch hunt

I’ve been looking around for the perfect oversized clutch for some time now. It needs to have that perfect soft leather so it looks a little bit out of shape and more comfy to wear under the arm. I love the Siamese bag from Alexander Wang on top and that clutch the man is holding is perfection. Last week I popped into American Apparel and they do have some interesting alternatives, come in 3 different sizes and a range of colors but it couldn’t keep the shape at all unless you stuff it all full, the hunt continues.
Fashion goes Bananas

“To go Bananas” is a well known phrase and is usually linked to Rachel Zoe as it seems to be her number 2 phrase in her vocabulary a few inches behind “I die”, but now it’s also an ingredient in spring/summer trends 2011.
Miuccia for Prada sent models down the runway in Milan last week in tropical bright colors and sombreros with clear South American influences and the more unexpected detail bananas. When she entered the stage herself in plastic banana earrings it was a clear statement and message taken. I assume it was a way to completely break with last seasons Mad Men 50′s inspired look which I’m pretty grateful for. A fresh new turn indeed even if I’ve got no intention to dress in banana patterns in the future to come.
