Though life goes on after fashion weeks I hope you don’t mind more images from Paris, as I’ve got loads of them. These are snapshots outside the Chanel show at Grand Palais the morning the fall winds turned. Karlie Kloss fresh from the Chanel runway, Christina Centenera’s sharply cut front and the Abu Khadra twins, regular showgoers in Paris.
Fashion Week in Paris is a little crazy but I love it and indian summer continues so it’s back on with everything called summery clothes. My first day here was a little hectic though, perhaps due to the fact I was limping around in flats and at the end of the day, around sunset, just before the light was all gone, I realized I hadn’t got outfit photos taken, hence the blurry dark quality.
Anyway I wore top by Isabel Marant, shorts Acne, shoes Zara, bag Chanel, sunnies Phillip Lim, watch Michael Kors, bracelets Hermes and Intermix.
Yesterday I managed to get my outfit taken over here with my own camera and I finally got to wear my denim shirt by Celine. As I’m a little into denim on denim looks I paired it with my denim looking shorts by Acne.
Now, on the run out but I’m gonna check in a little later on, have a wonderful day!
Shirt and sunnies by Celine, shorts Acne, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, bracelets Hermes and Intermix, watch Tagheuer and bag Chanel.
Though I’ve felt like wearing more natural shades on my nails lately, constantly sporting Chanel’s 493 Jade Rose, I might feel tempted to try one of these shades from Chanel’s limited edition, Les Jeans de Chanel, that will hit stores 8th of September.
Another nail news is Alexander Wang‘s first beauty effort that includes his very own nail color collection from Sally Hansen and will debut at his Spring show in NY in a few weeks…..
Say hello to my new Balenciaga sandals, I love the metal buckle on the side and they are so comfortable, in fact, I could actually run a marathon in these, but probably my physics would restrict me way sooner than the heels. They will also be perfect to wear with socks and tights when in gets cooler, to sum up, totally in love!
Fresh from a pedicure appointment my toes are wearing 307 Chanel Orange Fizz…..
Someone up-or-out-there obviously listens to my “prayers” and thanks to one of my wonderful readers who tipped me where she’d spotted these Celine beauties 3 weeks ago on sale. I jumped on the phone and they still had one pair left, which happened to be the perfect size, my foot slipped in so easily and I’m never gonna take them off again.
My toes are wearing Chanel’s Black Pearl.
Note: A tip for those of you craving the pair of Isabel Marant courts that Emmanuelle wears below and happen to be a size 5, you’ll find them at Liberty for £49.
On my wishlist is this beautiful book that was released yesterday, “Northern Women in Chanel” featuring top Scandinavian and Baltic models in Chanel designs shot in typical Nordic locations. Behind the 384 pages, including 45 editorials are the Swedish couple, photographer Peter Farago and stylist Ingela Klemets-Farago. It’s limited edition and will only come in 2112 copies but the images are on display right now at “Fotografiska” in Stockholm if you’re passing by.
I’ve got loads to catch up on after my time-off but it doesn’t hurt much when you come across interesting and beautiful things like this teaser video ‘The Tale of a Fairy’ directed by the man who seems to have a finger on everything at the moment, Karl Lagerfeld. At least it got me curious for the 30 min short film which can be seen on Chanel‘s website on Tuesday 10th at 9pm CET.
Chanels‘s urban fall collection that was presented the other day is the youngest and most wearable I’ve seen by Lagerfeld and not very often do the models look like their young age but they did in these looks. I can’t say I loved it all but there’s something very interesting with those loose fitted jumpsuits and footwear.
I had such a cozy evening on Saturday eve, the late dinner at Hawksmoor was fab. We had pre booked our prime rib piece in advance just to make sure we got what we came for.
I wore a silk dress Topshop Boutique, leather leggings Zara, leather jacket Vibe Johansson, bag Chanel and Louboutins.
Wow, what a great night yesterday, as you may know already I didn’t win in the category I was nominated in but I was so happy to even be among the five finalists. A massive thank you to all of you lovely readers who voted for me, on behalf of you I’m sorry I didn’t go to the top, I felt I owed you that.
Around 1000 people attended the award Blog Award in Folketeatret, creme de la creme of fashionistas in Norway and I’ve to admit it was a strange proud feeling to see my blog on the big screen. My sister kept me company and we ended the evening quite late. Unfortunately my camera didn’t want to be on my side yesterday so most of the images I took are completely destroyed.
Now I’m back in a rainy London and got 5 billion things to do cause I just got some wonderful news, I’m going to New York tomorrow, weee, NY fashion week is ongoing and I really hope to report from there.
Thank you all again for your support!
I wore dancing body, silk skirt Shape Shiftr, Louboutins, jacket Vibe Johansson, bracelet J Dauphin and bag Chanel
Yesterday eve was a blast and I danced in a leather dress from Zara, one ear ring Snö of Sweden, bracelet J Dauphin, Louboutins and bag Chanel.
The reason why I don’t show full length images taken at home is simply due to the fact that I live in a typical tiny London flat where the room with a wall proper to shoot has a width of 1.5m. Oh guys up in Scandinavia you have no idea how lucky you are in terms of space……
