You’ve probably seen the beautiful Chanel spring campaign by now, where Joan Smalls and Saskia de Brauw perform gymnastics hanging above the sea, seen through the lens of Lagerfeld himself. Here’s a behind-the-scene-video from the shot that took place in Cap d’Antibes, and if you’re not already longing for summer by the sea, this might get you started….
Happy Friday noon!

Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 Campaign
Ok, I’m not a huge fan of Dolce & Gabbana‘s vegetable printed spring collection, those chilis, onions and tomatoes have still not convinced me, but I do have to admit I love the spring campaign!!! It’s real, warm and sunny and brings you on a journey to the Italian coast in pure Italian style fronted by Monica Bellucci and Bianca Balti, photographed by Giampaolo Sgura.
Happy Saturday everyone!
Balenciaga Spring 2012 Campaign
A first sneak peak of Balenciaga’s Spring 2012 campaign featuring Lara Kampman photographed by Steven Meisel in one of my favorite looks from this collection, that print is fantastic and includes pretty much all the colors I’d like to wear for spring. Balenciaga ads always have something interesting to them and stick out in the sea of ads, don’t you think?
Sun
A sneak peak of Prada’s Spring 2012 campaign via Bryanboy and The Cut
Instead of complaining about my longing for sunshine and beach I’ve decided to do something about it, a long weekend on the Canary Islands will hopefully recharge my D-vitamin-batteries before a very busy end of December, January and February, leaving on Thursday morning, yeah!
Versace + H&M
Happy Monday morning folks, hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’ve been backing up my computer this weekend which took like forever but now all done and I’ll have posts coming.
You’ve probably seen it already but here’s one of Versace for H&M’s campaign shots starring Daphne Groeneveld and Lindsey Wixson, lensed by Mert & Marcus. Love this, black leather, studs and loads of details, looks very promising. You didn’t miss out that ADR was wearing one of the dresses last week.
The collection will be available in selected stores worldwide from November 19th.
Celine A/W Campaign
Celine’s A/W 11-12 campaign photographed by Juergen Teller, is far from the most exiting campaign out there this fall but all focus is on the looks, which at the end of the day is what counts. Though my favorites pieces are not shown here I find this collection just as desirable as when we had a first look back in March and now I can add perhaps the coolest pair of sunnies I’ve seen in ages on the list as well, just what I’ve been looking for.
Lanvin Fall 2011 Campaign
Today I jumped on an early morning train and I’m back in home sweet London after a slightly hectic but fun weekend in Paris.
Enjoy Lanvin’s (dance moving) fall campaign for now, should at least wake you up or put a smile on your face on a Monday noon, Alber Elbaz has for sure some sense of humor.
Whistles
I haven’t popped by Whistles for a long time but judging their A/W 11 campaign I like where they are going this season, clean cuts, color blocking and prints in a palette of deep purple, red, navy and sunflower orange, that white color block blouse will be tried on pretty soon! Thumbs up for the nature setting and natural poses, brings the garments and images to life.
Also, the French stunner with that beautiful name, seen in Celine’s Pre-Fall collection, Suzie Bird, is one genetically blessed young lady, loving her look!
Richardson doll
I couldn’t other than smile this morning when I saw jewelry brand David Webb’s Fall 2011 campaign lensed by the miniature doll himself Terry Richardson, in collaboration with Carine Roitfeld. You may wonder like me, what the half naked Richardson doll is is doing there alongside Eniko Mahlik, but it for sure shows the man doesn’t take himself too serious, not that we ever doubted that anyway.
Lane Crawford Fall 2011 Campaign
How cool is the the Asian retail giant Lane Crawford‘s Fall 2011 campaign, featuring only asian models this time around like Liu Wen, Fei Fei Sun, Ming Xi, Shu Pei and Xiao Wen Ju photographed by Mert & Marcus and styled by Marie-Amelie Sauve. It’s like every gorgeous piece jumps right at you, and that gorgeous Givenchy jacket in the right corner, no need to say more……
Jil Sander Campaign Fall 2011

Jil Sander’s fall campaign is out photographed by Willy Vanderperre under Raf Simons control and vision. Though it’s a bit dark I like it, it’s quirky and plays with geometry, a subject which is close to my heart and I much rather prefer odd ads like this than many of the super glossy campaigns with themes you have a feeling you’ve seen before.
Muse
I’ve got a weakness for fashion videos and I really like this one, may due to the combo of clothes, model and music, you’ve probably seen it already but it’s beautiful and worth seeing again, gorgeous Arizona Muse models YSL‘s S/S collection while moving around a palm tree to the sounds of Janelle Monae’s “Mushroom & Roses“.
