Ok, I can’t say that it happens very often that Max Mara has been source of my inspiration, but ever since I came across the spring campaign a month ago it’s been hiding in the back of my mind, suddenly I’m dreaming of sandy colours and classic-safari-minimalism come spring. I totally agree with Cathy Horyn who gives her thumbs up to this campaign, which is strong, polished and elegantly beautiful, and just like that Max Mara is on my radar……

Saint Laurent Spring 2013 Campaign
Wide brimmed hats = superhot accessory in the new year ahead. Trend or not, I’ve always loved bigger hats (on others!), but I especially like the combo seen in Saint Laurent ‘s SS13, worn with slim tailored silhouettes and leather. Though I’m not much of a “hatty” person myself I might be tempted to give it ago, and if not I hope to spot some of you in it.

Well hello there, if the freshly released campaign images of the collaboration Maison Martin Margiela + H&M are anything to go by I say hurray!!!!! The images photographed by Sam Taylor-Johnson are absolutely stunning and the pieces looks fantastic, those coats are officially on my wishlist, so I cannot wait to feel the fabrics up close.
The collection will be available in stores and online on November 15th.

I cant help but loving Balmain’s beautiful atmospheric campaign which includes my absolute dream pieces this coming fall seen on beauty Nadja Bender. When I came across Zara‘s latest campaign fronted by ever-so-cool Freja I couldn’t help having a feeling of deja-vu, as some of the images and atmosphere has some striking resemble. Perhaps explained that they are both lensed by David Sims, who by the way is the man behind many cool campaigns this season. On the other hand I’m not surprised to see Balmain inspired pieces in Zara but perhaps that they’ve both been captured in similar themes by the same photographer, well just a thought…..

Balenciaga’s fall ads, photographed by Steven Meisel, include my absolute favorite pieces by the fashion house this fall, I know I’m repeating myself but I find all these jumpers and fabrics breathtaking. Also, the other day I got the chance to check out most of the jewellery and shoes in this collection and though some was a little over the top 80′s for my liking there were definitely a few outstanding pieces, the shoes on top please send my way!

Burberry Fall 2012 Campaign

Were you like me a little fed up with Burberry’s recent trench campaigns shot against a white or gray background (though I haven’t minded seeing the hunk Eddie Redmayne on billboards this spring). Anyway, Burberry has finally taken a step out of studio for their fall campaign and the images, which features actress Gabriella Wilde and musician Roo Panes, are instead shot on various locations in London with a cinematic theme, photographed by Mario Testino. Sounds like all the ingredients are there for a cool campaign, but seeing the images I’m not really taken, perhaps the first image got some atmosphere to it, but that’s it, what do you think?
Liking the campaign or not I’m feeling very tempted to bring my own Burberry into daylight again this summer.
