black & white

This weekend I’ve just been chilling at home, after a busy week my body and brain just needed to recharge, hence I didn’t feel inspired to get dressed at all, like on Saturday when I ran out to meet my friend David for a coffee, though I was tempted to leave the house in pyjamas and slippers I grabbed for my old cropped denims and favorite oversized knit, yes, we all have those days don’t we?

Unexpected events

Wow, I had loads of fun this weekend, hanging out with girlfriends I don’t have the chance to see so much in these busy times. It all kicked off on Friday noon with a little shopping, followed by dinner and drinks at various places, and then, well it ended late. Days like that happen to be when I’ve the most fun, when nothing’s planned and everyone is positive and never want the evening to end, thanks girls!

I left home in this outfit that morning with no party plans on my mind, jeans can definitely be a party saver, I wore J Brand jeans, new lace shirt by Acne, parka Isabel Marant, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, bracelet Kenneth Jay Lane, watch Tagheuer, Ray Ban’s and bag Celine.

Running late

Again a very busy day and right now I’m doing some obsessive late cleaning at my place, my best friend from Norway is visiting this weekend and though we’re not gonna spend much time inside our tiny flat I want it to be as bright and cozy as possible. The fridge is stuffed with delicatessen and wine from Whole Foods, my favorite food market in London, and the only thing missing is flowers on the table, something that need to get solved!

Anyway today I wore a silk dress by Isabel Marant, jumper Nowhere, cashmere blazer Topshop Boutique, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, bag Celine and shearling bag charm by Karl Donoghue.

A mix of structures

On Saturday I dug out these soft leather pants from Cos in my wardrobe, one of my favorite pieces last year and I’ve got no plans of forgetting about them very soon either. The jumper is by Nowhere and I’m really positive surprised by the quality, every time I’ve worn it strangers have commented on it, one girl in a restaurant even sent the waiter over to ask me where it was from, so thumbs up!

Anyway, I wore this on Saturday noon when I was chilling in my hood and got pampered by my hairdresser before the big party, I wore leather pants from Cos, knit by Nowhere, clutch YSl, shoes Camilla Skovgaard, sunnies Phillip Lim, watch Tagheuer, bracelet Margiela, necklace Tiffany’s and ring Pamela Love for Topshop.

A classic

Ever since my “London Underground-stunt” a few weeks ago I’ve been looking around for the perfect classic black pumps as I broke the heel on my ever so beloved pumps from Cos, though my shoemaker fixed the damage they will sadly never be the same. However, finding a new pair that are comfortable enough for daily wear (forget about Louboutin’s!) was more challenging than I thought so I ended up relying on an old classic from Camilla Skovgaard that I already have in nude, though there’s some toe-cleavage going on they are the most comfortable stiletto’s I’ve ever worn.

Denim on denim

Yesterday I managed to get my outfit taken over here with my own camera and I finally got to wear my denim shirt by Celine. As I’m a little into denim on denim looks I paired it with my denim looking shorts by Acne.

Now, on the run out but I’m gonna check in a little later on, have a wonderful day!

Toned down

On Sunday I attended one of those events in Paris were there was a whole lot of people of a different culture, including a lot of elderly people. Showing up in a mini dress, exposing too much skin or wearing anything too eye catching just didn’t feel appropriate, I guess you know what I mean?
I’ve wanted to wear this dress for a long time and would have styled it very differently on a “normal” event, probably with black sandals and more chunky accessories and clutch, well, I’ll save that for another time.

Proper

Good Monday morning, I’m back in London after a fab weekend in Paris and as the weather turned out to be fantastic I ended up improvising in the last minute before the wedding on Saturday and slipped into the most summery dress I brought along, though I’m normally not into yellow I kind of like this paler shade, it’s from H&M.
