In black

Sorry guys, today has been crazy busy for me as I’m leaving for NY tomorrow, that’s also the reason why I’m still awake at this hour, my foolish attempt to avoid jet lag. On top of ticking boxes on my list today I even managed to squeeze in a hair appointment with my favorite hair stylist in town, Sergio, I felt it was time to go slightly darker again, like every fall.

The last few days have been pretty chilly in London so today I just couldn’t leave the jacket behind at home, I wore skirt by Whyred, knit Zara, leather jacket and old booties Topshop, watch Michael Kors, bracelet Margiela, sunnies Ralph Lauren and bag Celine.

Rainday

The weather was really wet and uninspiring this morning when I left home for breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien with my favorite girl, Johanna.I tucked my hair inside my jacket and jumped into these cropped leopard jeans from Whistles (not exactly in that order) that I’ve used a lot lately. I’m so careful with leopard prints but this pattern and color feel more toned down in a way.

Proper

Good Monday morning, I’m back in London after a fab weekend in Paris and as the weather turned out to be fantastic I ended up improvising in the last minute before the wedding on Saturday and slipped into the most summery dress I brought along, though I’m normally not into yellow I kind of like this paler shade, it’s from H&M.

Pink

Yesterday eve I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Dehesa in Soho and felt like adding some color outside my comfort zone, just wish it had been warmer outside and I would have left my jacket at home, looking a little moody but really I wasn’t.

Today, a wonderful day, the sun is finally here again, need to run out and say hello, have a lovely noon you too!

Doomed

Complaining about the weather doesn’t help much I know but after a long period of time with heavy showers and low temperatures I’ll allow myself a little, May/June so far really has lived up to it’s name Brit summer. Spring started off so wonderfully but I do remember what a taxi driver told me back in March, or doomed would be more correctly, great springs in London are always followed by sad summers, at the time I totally ignored it but now, perhaps he was right, lets hope not!

Yesterday

Yesterday ended up with spontaneous drinks at Trafalgar and dinner out on the town with my friend Maggie and before I got my head around the day, ehh night, was over, but since the evening was one of those unexpected and unplanned ones it summed up totally fab, as those night usually tend to do.
