Boots of the season highest on my wish list are these knee-length 40mm Babies by Saint Laurent, perfect for everyday day wear and goes so well with minidresses and black tights. You’ll find the patent leather version here and here and in polished leather here. Yours for £885.

I know, someone might find it hard to digest fall picks before we even had summer, but we all know that in order to be able to lay your hands on your favorites, especially when it comes to shoes, you have to be an early bird. I’ve said it before and I say it again, this coming fall knee-high boots are coming in forces, finally! But there’s strong competition on the ankle boots side and these are some of my picks for next season.
I’ve had these wedge brogues by Acne on my mind for a while but I haven’t been convinced of the color, was hoping they would come in burgundy, wouldn’t that have been just perfect?
By the way I’m gonna sell off several pair of shoes, my wardrobe is full and something’s gotta go, Acne Track, Vega and Louboutin’s are among the sales items, I’ll give you a link when it’s up.
I’m now the proud owner of what must be the coolest pair of flat boots I’ve ever seen, one of my treats from Paris. As a paradox I initially was on the hunt for these boots that was put aside for me in my size but when I stepped into the Isabel Marant store……..I spotted these. Pointy toe, patent leather, it was love at first sight!
Though I’m not too crazy about reptile patterns I couldn’t resist these leather boots from Zara, very Prada and Chloe’ish, and oh so comfy, can’t wait to wear them with a mini skirt and oversized knitwear. They also had a knee-length pair in suede and leather I found quite tempting but my final choice landed on these, feels more versatile.
Something I do have mixed feelings about is that it looks like Zara has completely ripped off parts of Chloe’s fall collection……. not to mention other resembles that make me think of Phillip Lim and Celine but that’s not really news, is it?
Too much bling bling said my boyfriend and I guess he’s right knowing I’m not a bling bling girl.
Anyway I had my eyes on these booties from Giuseppe Zanotti for a long time and came across these silvery beauties on a great sale in NY. They will be perfect matched with simple black jeans and t-shirt for a everyday glamour touch or perhaps just glitter up my shoe wardrobe. While I squeezed my feet into them in the store a couple passed by me and commented it was a real Cinderella shoe and they couldn’t have been more right.
