I’ve had the pleasure of trying this limited edition summer kit and I’m hooked, perfect travel sizes of luxury and the lipgloss is a new favourite of mine. The whole kit is yours for a pocket friendly £30 and you’ll find it here.
When it comes to beauty products there are some that I always come back to and have been using for years. Sure, I’m always open minded to try new stuff out there, but these are my personal favourites I’ve been sticking to for long. I now I’ve mentioned many of them here before, but on request from some of my readers here they are again. And last but not least my best beauty tip are, drink loads of water and dump that cigarette!
1. Dermalogica Special Cleaning Gel 2. Clinique All About Eyes Serum 3. Clarins Pure and Radiant Mask 4. Biotherm Lait Corporel 5. Clinique All About Eyes Rich 6. Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair 7. Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner 8. ila Bath Salt 9. Elemis Japanese Camelia Oil 10. Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream 11. A great liner is part of my daily routine, a routine that has shrunk down to 5 min after becoming a mum. One personal favourite in the jungle of products out there is this art pen by Dior, it lasts all day and last but not least, the most unskilled make-up hands can apply it, super easy! Yours for £23 and you’ll find it here.
Nipple balm aka Lanolin for your lips? (Breastfeeding flashbacks anyone?) Best balm I’ve ever tried for chapped lips and works on everything from dry skin areas, cuticles to a make-up booster. 100% pure medical grade Lanolin, fragrance free and worth every penny. Dr. Lipp is yours for £11.50 and you’ll find it here.
Having your beauty sleep interrupted by a hungry baby screaming way too early every morning surely does nothing good for your mirror reflection, and certainly not for the eye area. These two products have helped me to reduce puffy eyes these last 2 months along with litres of water, thumbs up!
I’m a huge fan of strong fully eyebrows ala Cara Delivigne and Arizona Muse but most of us need a little help to achieve a fuller eye-brow-look even if we are careful pluckers. A favourite product of mine that last forever and doesn’t cost much is this fill-in-brow-powder by BareMinerals, easy to apply and perfect for a natural look. Brow Color £11, and Brow Brush £10.
I’ve tipped about the Camelia oil earlier, but now after trying several other products by Elemis I’m totally hooked as they make the skin so soft and lean, and perfect when you want to spoil yourself with a luxurious home spa treat. “New-ins” are Elemis Lime and Ginger Salt Glow, Elemis Skin Nourishing Milk Bath, and off course a refill of my favourite oil, Elemis Japanese Camellia Body Oil Blend.

Every year I get this idea to chop a fringe, and this year like every other year, it’s not very likely to happen due to my unruly curls. However if I had straight hair like 60′s icon and beauty Francoise Hardy, the chop would have been done ages ago, her cut is just too cool for school and will remain my hair-inspo-dream for 2012 that never happened.
Happy Friday to all of you superstars!
I’m doing just like Victoria Beckham and swearing to this oil blend by Elemis during my pregnancy. After trying different oils out there this one’s a clear favourite, it’s not too strong on the nose and sinks into skin very quickly, hopefully it will prevent skin damages, crossing my fingers…..
It’s not often I tip about beauty products as I don’t experiment much, but these goodies are new favorites of mine and it doesn’t hurt that they all come in a beautiful package.
L’eau De Chloe is a super fresh floral citrus fragrance, and doesn’t feel heavy at all on the skin, just the way I like it! YSL Volupte lipstick in Sheer Candy is perfect if you prefer a moisturizing lipstick (don’t we all?), good points for the fruity taste. Dior mascara’s have been favorites for years though I’ve felt the result could easily be a little too dramatic, the latest one however, Diorshow NEW LOOK is a great tip if you prefer more natural looking lashes.

I’ve been asked what beauty products I use and instead of replying to each of you why not make a post about it. I’ve got sensitive skin so I don’t experiment much with different products and stick to something if it works for me. I’ve used all these products for years and they are my absolute favorites out there. If I was sent to a lonely island and got to bring one with me it would be the Skin Smoothing Cream from Dermalogica, it’s fantastic. Also recommend the Skin Prep Scrub and Daily Microfoliant from Dermalogica, they are simply great products.
Today I stopped by Topshop next door and found this nail polish, similar to Chanel’s Black Pearl but not much hint of green I’m afraid, in real life it’s less purple than it looks here, I’ve tried Topshop’s polish before and they are ok, we’ll see about this one.
Since I just had a quick run out today and didn’t feel either like dressing at all (a good indication I’m not feeling well) or ask a stranger in the street to take my photo this is all I got. I wore last year’s faux fur in mc-style from Zara, knitting Zara, jeans Cheap Monday, boots Acne and bag Biasa.
As you may know Chanel has a huge impact on how we paint our nails every season, probably due to their very limited edition range that hits the market a few times a year and the hype around it is always insane, waiting lists, selling out as soon as they hit the counter for £16 and then can then be found on ebay from £60 and up. Even if you think they don’t influence what you wear they probably do cause their trend colors get copied by any high street brand out there. Do you remember 2009′s Jade color, Februar’s Particuliere, June’s Nouvelle Vague and the Khaki range a month ago.
Here’s a sneak peak, the new color will most likely be Black Pearl. When Chanel presented their Spring Collection 2011 all the models nails were painted in a black pearly color with hints of green, being seen on the Spring show is a pretty good indicator on what’s gonna be the next nail-mania. Personally I think it’s a bit dark for spring but I’m sure it’s gonna be a success as always, in fact I’m gonna look around for something similar and wear it now.
As was seen on my photos yesterday I was holding a cute little Burberry bag in my arms. Burberry launched their first make-up range Burberry Beauty in July this year and after I’ve heard so much positive about it I decided to give it a go. What I can say is that it is fantastic, the color palette is perfect for this season, so natural, easy to apply and on top it comes in beautiful small Burberry boxes with even the Burberry pattern on the lipstick. I got the Sheer Eye Shadow Rosewood No.09, Light Glow Blush Peony Blush No.04 and the perfect dark lipstick Lip Cover Brick Red No.19.
For those who don’t like to wear heavy make-up and prefer a fresh look I can hardly recommend it. There’s also a video below where you can watch for yourself and get convinced. The range is available in Harrods exclusively, in store and online.
