Yesterday eve

Wow, I had fun yesterday eve, a lovely dinner at Wild Honey followed by clubbing at Maddox. It was my first time at this restaurant but not to the menu, as it’s run by the same team as one of my favorites places for a good steak in London, Arbutus.

I wore, skirt Acne, top Zara, shoes Isabel Marant, bracelet Hermes and clutch American Apparel.

Met up with my friend Lawrence in Covent Garden today and he helped me to pick out the right equipment for my camera, not that I knew I needed it but apparently I did so thanks Lawrence for helping me spending though I rather have saved those pennies towards a Celine box bag.

Today I caught up with my dear Johanna on new adventures, ended up buying chinese take away and Tiger beer in China town to brunch at my place.

Next week I might go to Oslo for the Blog Award I was nominated to, unfortunately I’m not one of the last finalists, but I’m happy and never expected to be nominated in the first place after blogging only for 4 months. But I would like to thank all of you who voted for me, a million thanks to you guys!!!

Woop woop, I managed to catch some daylight today and had a walk along Old Bond Street, big thanks to Julie who keeps me company and assists when I’m out snapping people.

Don’t have time to say much more as I need to finish work before a booked dinner out and I’m running so late. Have a lovely eve and Ciao!

Today I met up with my sweetie Johanna for brunch and girl talk at Le Pain Quotidien in Covent Garden with the background sound of violinists at the Piazza, beautiful. Can’t wait for warmer temperatures, sunshine and long brunches outside.

After just finishing off some work I’m on my way out, party at friends’s house, have a lovely Friday eve you too!

New Year’s Eve

Yesterday eve was a blast, and so far this year has been pretty good, I simply have a good feeling about this year ahead. All my plans yesterday about booking a taxi before hand ended up in nowhere (did I mention getting wiser with the years?) and as they practically close down the traffic in the West End on New Year’s Eve I ended up sporting a taxi bike to get to the restaurant, not recommended in a short dress in December. After a fabulous dinner at the Spanish part of Aqua observing the firework at London Eye from the balcony we headed over to a night club to catch up with a group of friends.

I danced through the night in a dress from Lanvin for H&M, heels Cos, leather clutch American Apparel, ear cuff  Line&Jo and pink lips.

The clutch hunt

Images by Tommy Ton

I’ve been looking around for the perfect oversized clutch for some time now. It needs to have that perfect soft leather so it looks a little bit out of shape and more comfy to wear under the arm. I love the Siamese bag from Alexander Wang on top and that clutch the man is holding is perfection. Last week I popped into American Apparel and they do have some interesting alternatives, come in 3 different sizes and a range of colors but it couldn’t keep the shape at all unless you stuff it all full, the hunt continues.

As some people may know already I’m pretty loyal to Scandinavian brands, not only because I’m Norwegian myself but there are so many fantastic designers and talents up there which appeal to me through the simplicity, quality materials, and clean lines. Right now Stockholm Fashion Week is ongoing and I wish I was there, when I’ve looked through images from all the shows I’ll post about it.

Today’s outfit- simple, silky shorts from Topshop, jumper American Apparel, blazer Zara (which wasn’t needed at all in this temperature) and sandals Acne
