Happy rainy Monday noon, after a rather wet weekend in Paris I woke up to the news today that the rain will keep hanging over us in London rest of summer, how uplifting!? Hence, a hooded rainy parka is high on my wishlist right now, and my favorite in stores is this beauty by Altuzarra, perfect to wear on top of summery dresses and skirts, and while we’re at it, I might as well wish for the coolest skull umbrella out there by McQueen.
I always had a crush on Kate Moss, hence I tend to love whatever work she does (perhaps not always justified). But there’s no doubt she looks stunningly beautiful fronting this year’s Vogue US September Issue in McQueen photographed by Mario Testino.
I would have loved to have these beauties from Alexander McQueen on display in my home which qualify side by side with other iconic fashion pieces and images, an art project I’ve dreamed of and most likely it’ll always be a dream. I don’t even like them as shoes but they are rather a beautiful piece of art which draws clear resemblance to the iconic Kate Moss hologram on McQueen Fall show in 2006, fashion and art united so beautifully, and can be watched again and again, gives me piece……
Not so much updates today, sorry for that but I’ve been working quite a lot lately and simply needed to charge my batteries. Today I strolled along the Thames in the rainy wind, gosh sometimes a walk in fresh air is so good.

After shooting other people in the streets on Sunday it had already got dark when I realized I hadn’t done my own, anyway, here it it. We ended that day with a cozy dinner at Cafe Boheme in Soho with live music.
Soon off to the Saatchi Gallery, need to hurry up.

Just got home after seeing The Social Network, an interesting movie about the creation of Facebook, based on such a simple idea that didn’t require the most sophisticated programming skills to put into life, I could bang my head into the wall asking why I didn’t come up with it myself and that goes for many of my “geek” friends, I guess we just have to invent something else…..
