Remember my image back in September of Geraldine Saglio where I asked you guys about her perfect pumps? The feedback from you was amazing and with your help we narrowed down the pair to be Jimmy Choo’s Agnes. Mine in suede debuted in the Tuileries sand last week, perhaps not the cleverest choice, but I love them so much I’m considering getting them in nude suede or snake print as well. Extra plus for the heel height of 3.5 inches which is very “walkable” (hoping my parents read this!).
I’m feeling in the mood of rings these days and during London fashion week I came across Italian designer Maria Francesca Pepe’s designs at the Somerset House, fashion jewellery with just the avant-garde look that I personally like, edgy but still delicate. From a price point of view it’s not bad at all, these hypoallergenic brass rings start from £45 to £122, all available on her website.
Every early fall no matter trend alert I crave for something burgundy. Last year it was an oversized burgundy knit, inspired by Celine’s fantastic pre-fall 2011, that found it’s way to my wardrobe. This year it’s this jacket from Topshop Unique, not sure though if it was the colour or cut that got me.
Anyway, here’s what I wore one day in Paris last week, it was chilly in the air but a really beautiful day. I wore a wool skirt and t-shirt by Acne, jacket by Topshop Unique (sold out but this one is similar biker style), boots by Phillip Lim, bag by Proenza Schouler, bracelet Hermes and Cooee, and sunnies by Tom Ford.
When in NY I met up with Tibi founder and designer, lovely Amy Smilovic, over a cosy lunch in Soho followed by a stop by Tibi’s offices to have a closer look on the fresh SS13 collection. There are several reasons why Tibi is right up my street, it’s young, flirty, casual and clean cut, and always consists of effortless, timeless pieces that can be worn in several ways again and again. This time around in comes in forms of sorbet colours, prints, black leather, washed denim and laser cut detailing, and I can tell you there’s plenty of sandals looking forward to as well come spring.

I’ve hardly bothered to stop by Zara lately, reason? Cause I find it quite off-putting when I see straight off copycat collections and pieces in the shelves. Don’t get me wrong, I really love the highstreet, and do understand that they take inspiration in trend forecasts based on designers collections, but sometimes they just take it too far. However, today I’ll give Zara another go, as there are some promising pieces in their October lookbook, how about that oversized leather jacket for instance?
Jeans, a checked shirt and slippers, something I’ve been sporting a lot on the go lately but never managed to catch on camera. Not this time around either apparently as I had already jumped into my booties by the time I managed to bring the camera out. Speaking of these Dolce heels, I’ve received so many mails from you readers about where to find them, and I can gladly tell you they stock same style model at Net-a-Porter right now.
Kicking off my Friday morning is Adele’s freshly released James Bond theme “Skyfall”. Ok, so I’m a sucker for Bond movies, well at least ever since Daniel Craig joined, enjoy this wonderful track that couldn’t be more Bond. Happy Friday!
I’ve ran into Maria Kolosova, editor at Harper’s Bazaar Russia, many times lately and except for being incredible cute she always looks so well put together, with effort yes, but without trying too hard, just the way I like it! Like the other day at Chanel, where she looked absolutely stunning in this dream of a sequin jumper from Sportmax A/W-12.
If you like me, expect nothing less than an solid injection of inspiration everytime Phoebe Philo serves a new collection for Celine, then you won’t be disappointed this time around either. Though I have to admit not every look are my cup of tea, there are certainly those who are. I especially like the play of contrasting structures and the unfinished feel that many of the pieces have, which make it less perfect, cooler and so effortless elegant.
Favourite piece: The black mesh dress with pockets (Olalla, I’m in love!).

Fashion month is over for now and I’m back in London where there’s finally time to unpack my suitcases instead of repacking them. Suddenly everyday-things like having breakfast with morning news on TV, chilling with good reads in my sofa, cooking, not to mention sleeping in my own bed are the things I appreciate doing right now, home sweet home.
I had a blast in Paris though and since the weather decided to be wonderfully warm and sunny on my first day there I sported bare legs in my hairy new boots. I wore knit by IRO, skirt (found as dress here) and boots (similar IM model here) by Isabel Marant, bag by Proenza Schouler, sunnies by Tom Ford, letter earring by MariaFrancescaPepe, watch Tagheuer, bracelets by Cooee, Hermes and Monica Vinader.
While in Paris I stumbled across this studded beauty by Valentino, the perfect little black clutch with just the right amount of studded glam and I love the “finger-holder”, it also comes in red and pink which you’ll find here. No buy for me this time around though but it’s officially added to my wish-list (hello Santa!).
Paris has been chilly enough to throw on cozy jackets and I finally got to wear one of my favourites of all fall jackets this season, it’s from Topshop Unique’s collection and has that perfect oversized biker fit.
More images will come soon but as today is my last day in Paris I better get my feet moving, happy Tuesday everyone!
I’ve had warm feelings for checked prints and tartan for a while now and dug out old favourite shirts from my wardrobe, and especially after seeing Dries Van Noten’s SS13 collection, I feel haunted. Beautiful Elin Kling rocked these checked trousers from Joseph over in NY and paired them with a simple tee, a tiny Chanel, heels, Ray Ban’s and a leather biker by Balenciaga, just loved this look!
My favourite looks from Balenciaga’s SS13 collection, that I wouldn’t try to resist, and totally fell for the tailored sharp structures, yet very nude collection with a lot of focus on the waistline. An area that I intend to sport come spring 2013, and just another motivation why getting back into shape post baby is super high on my priority list! See the whole collection here.
And oh, 1pm (CET) today it’s Celine time, stay tuned!
