Relaxed silhouettes are right up my street whatever the trend barometer, and to me it’s not only about opting for an effortless look, but who doesn’t love feeling comfortable. The underlying in many of my sartorial choices is based on just that, the feeling of the fabric and the perfect tailoring. These wide trousers for instance tick all the boxes, and can be dressed up and down in a million ways. I know I’ve mentioned it before, but wide trousers are amongst my favourites this season!
When it comes to beauty products there are some that I always come back to and have been using for years. Sure, I’m always open minded to try new stuff out there, but these are my personal favourites I’ve been sticking to for long. I now I’ve mentioned many of them here before, but on request from some of my readers here they are again. And last but not least my best beauty tip are, drink loads of water and dump that cigarette!

Overalls could potentially be the most difficult and dangerous item to wear if you’re more than 10 years old, but since I like living in a sartorial world without many rules nor restrictions I never really bothered. Overall’s have to come stay in my wardrobe and they are god damn comfortable too.
Happy Weekend Everyone!
Dries Van Noten always delivers beautiful, opulent, feminine, edgy and and contrasting collections, and fall 2014 is no exception. Here’s a little insight into the Belgium designers work and if you’re around Paris before 31′st of August, then stopping by Musée Des Arts Décoratifs could be worth a visit, where the artist ongoing exhibition is held.
Yeah yeah, I know it’s mostly about arty prints this season, but I still find myself sticking to simple and monochrome looks as far away from loud as it gets. If you’re looking for revolutionary, too-coo-for-school, fast fashion, and most of the time short lived tips, you’d better look elsewhere than here, cause this space is about those basics you can wear again and again with quality in mind. Gosh, that all sounded boring, but these basics aren’t for sure, a pair of cropped wide trousers like these are on my top-tip-list this season, if you haven’t got yours already!
Ok, so I’m perhaps a little carried away by the wonderful warm weather we’ve been blessed with in London at the moment. Hopefully it won’t be long though before we can sport full on springy outfits, so this year I’ll be prepared, and I wouldn’t mind stocking up with these lovely pieces new in stores!
Vogue Paris November 2013
It’s that time of year again, wonderful sunny days in bikini’s are getting closer every day, dreamy and terrifying at the same time, especially since I personally, have not been the good girl I intended to be this year. Seeing friends being converted gym enthusiast in their nike gear doesn’t make me feel any better about it either. Well, there’s still time to roll up those sleeves, lets do it!!!
Beautiful coats, oh don’t we love them, but honestly, being a jumper kinda girl, it feels quite liberating to leave it behind now and then when temperatures raises. If you’re not already tired of your coats and layers that carried you through winter I bet you’re one of the few. We’ve got the best times ahead of us sartorial-wise, or what do you think?
Ok, all this talk about flats lately, a girl need them heels too, so this week I’ve taken these new specimen by Aquazzura out in daylight too. Knit by & Other Stories, trousers by Stella McCartney (also here), shoes by Aquazzura (similar here and here), bag by Céline, Ray Ban’s (also here), Tag Heuer watch.
If you wanna go tribal this season in a more toned down way, a fringed or tasselled bag is one way to go, and it works so perfectly well with any minimal and clean look. My Friday pick lands on this orange Nouveau bag by Gucci, that also comes in a longer fringe suede version if yore more of a maximalist. Yours for £1,360 and you’ll find both versions here, yum!
How time flies, already mid-march, and I haven’t got my head around that proper winter never really came in the first place. Instead it’s all about embracing the beautiful signs of spring that already have arrived, the birds singing, cherry trees blooming and the optimism in the air. I’m celebrating with less layering and lighter colours, hurra!
