I’m in love with this look from Dries Van Noten 2010 A/W Collection. A perfect way to enter the Autumn but since I don’t have the right ingredients yet in my wardrobe I’ll have to improvise. I’ve found a wool skirt at Zara (a little shorter more practical one) which I’m gonna wear in a similar way with a slouchy, casual top.
The 50′s look which is everywhere out there I don’t find very appealing. I will definitely not dress like a 50′s housewife or pin-up this winter. One who can pull this trend off without looking like one is Scarlett Johansson, she seems to love that length of skirt and always look fabulous in it. I really do like the dress she’s wearing below though fronting Mango’s F/W 10/11 Collection, very ladylike but can easily be spiced up a bit, I’ve had an eye for it but it’s not yet in store.
What I don’t like is the beyond photoshopped face of her in the new Mango Campaign, it’s even hard to recognize her, she looks more like Jessica Biel to me or should I put on my glasses again?

Is it the grey one Ms. Scarlet is wearing?? But can that be worn for a Wedding/ cocktail party?
Xx
Absolutely Maggie, for a autumn wedding indeed, in real life the color is less grey, closer to mink, I think you would look stunning in it, just pair it with some killer heels and add another belt on it. xx
