High rise

Though I dip my toes into seasonal trends from time to time I always come back to the classics, and a jeans+shirt combo, has pretty much turned out to be my uniform lately. After searching high and low after a pair of high waisted skinny jeans (I just couldn’t wait for Saint Laurent’s one’s to drop in stores), I was thrilled to come across these specimen with the perfect vintage wash. Forget about low or mid-rise, it’s all about high rise in times to come, are you in or out?

Jeans by J.Crew (budget version here), shirt by Acne (similar here), belt by Saint Laurent (also here), coat by Stella McCartney (similar options here), shoes by Jimmy Choo, bag by Gucci and earring by Sophie Bille Brahe.

Ugh-I don’t think I’ll ever get there,,,for 2 reasons. 1, I find them uncomfortable and most importantly 2, so very unflattering from the back view. Why do we want a 3 foot long ass? I dress to please myself first,,,,they just don’t appeal at all,,,,,but beyond that I can’t imagine the male of the species finding them attractive in any way. Am I missing something?
