I’m celebrating this Friday morning with some of my favourite couture looks presented this week in Paris, dreamy graphics at Giambattista Valli, sharp romanticism at Christian Dior, and beautiful whites at Valentino. Though couture might feel lightyears away for most people beautiful dreams and inspiration are both for free. On another note I’m loving that some couture has taken a smarter and cleaner path, though the simplicity I wouldn’t underestimate the handcrafts, it’s still there for sure.

love Valentino’s very soft feminine style !

Valentino is my favourite, it has always been. I would love to see how those amazing dresses are made!
As you put it, Haute Couture is like a dream come true … love the scenery and the whole atmosphere at the shows.

I love the last Valentino dress. As you say, it looks deceptively simple. No doubt the craftsmanship is amazing. I would love that dress for summer…mmmmmmm….:)

Love the dresses you picked for Valentino and the Dior top in the first outfit. I concur that couture has taken a cleaner path yet the handicraft is still ever-present.
