I fell in love with Dries Van Noten’s spring collection as soon as I laid my eyes on it in September, and finally some of the gorgeous pieces, like these highly coveted cotton checked shirts have hit stores. Though we’ve been bombarded with similar styles and copies on the highstreet for months it hasn’t affected my desire to wear checked this spring. Except for the obvious pairing with denim I might also do it the “Dries-way” with florals and silks, and any of these two would be so welcomed by me! Orange shirt £221 and burgundy shirt £455.
Loving these plaid shirts, especially the one on the right, because it’s sheer. I love this fresh new take on tartan and plaid, definitely looking forward to emulate this collection next season. x
Tartan is easy to get wrong but I definitely think sheer makes it a lot cuter.

They look fantastic. I would never go for the high street versions as I love quality clothing but the prices look pretty beyond my normal spendings.
