Images by Peter Lindbergh
Since I came across these images by Peter Lindbergh for Numero#126 a week ago they’ve been hunting me. I find these images longing, poetic, intensive and cinematic with such a beautiful storyline (I strongly assume you’re able to see through just the young-woman-old man-thing). This is Lindbergh’s second tribute to the classic movie Wings of Desire(1987) by Wim Wenders, which he first paid tribute to in a 93′Bazaar editorial, featuring Amber Valetta. City of Angels(1998), which is probably more known to many, is an American remake of the original German movie. These captivating images featuring Daphne Groeneveld and actor Pascal Greggory also make me think of Luc Besson‘s B&W movie Angel-A(2005), really worth watching!
