A note

Apologies for not posting on this space as often as I used too, I wish I could, but being a one-man show has it’s time limits, if only we had more hours…
With Fashion weeks running full up to speed right now I’m sure you got your feeds and news channels full anyway.

Sartorial wise I’m still holding on to some of my winter favourites combined with a few new season pieces, like this suede skirt by Tibi for instance. Sporting bare legs in February has become the new normal in London and I’m certainly not complaining.
Happy Weekend’ing!!

Suede me…

Suede Picks by Hedvig Opshaug

Suede is one of the key words this season, along with denim of course, and together they are the perfect combo. Here are some of my favourite suede pieces in stores right now that I wouldn’t mind laying my hands and feet on, yum!

Belt by Saint Laurent, tote by Miu Miu, coat by Theory, top and wrap pants by Tibi, fringed jacket by Saint Laurent, loafers by Gucci, skirt by Theory.

Far out!

Every year, whether it’s trending or not, I dig out my good old flares. This season however they couldn’t feel more right and instead of being brought out in daylight on odd occasions they have become my new regulars.
You’ll find all fits and styles out there right now but my personal favourites have always been by MiH Jeans with the perfect kick, and this velvet pair are certainly up in the running of being my winning pair ever.
Have you dug your flares out yet?

Today it was announced that the Dutch designers Viktor Horsting & Rolf Snoeren are to close their Viktor & Rolf ready-to-wear line following the fall-winter 2015 season.
According to WWD, going forward the label is set to focus on haute couture and the lucrative fragrances division, a strategic decision to position the brand in the highest luxury segment of fashion.

Keeping it short

While rushing through flu-month with a sick toddler, lack of energy and a (soon!) desperate need of melanin-stimulation, while watching the amounts of non-replied-work-mails growing, January was gone with a flash. Welcome February and all fashion light coming along with it, still clinging on to our winter staples while sipping to fresh peppermint tea.
Wishing you all a lovely week!

Micro Monsters…

fendi micro monsterNot that I’m lacking sense of humour or take fashion too serious, in fact rather the opposite, but I’ve never felt the urge expressing it through my own personal style. However exceptions can be made, and if I wanted to splurge on something rather wild that wouldn’t tick any of my normally sensible boxes(!), it would be the new seasons micro monster baguette by Fendi.
Perhaps I could justify that my little girl would borrow it? The little monsters come in green, yellow and coral, yours for £930 and can be pre-ordered here.
