Phoebe Philo continues what she does the best, another pre-collection that feels fresh, new, but still has what has become so very Celine. The french house have lately kept their pre-collections under seal, and the image release of this highly anticipated Resort 2015 collection coincides with the release of the ads fronted by what has become Celine in house model Daria Werbowy. Feeling inspired anyone, I surely do.
Over the years I’ve learned to narrow down my wish list for the beginning of every new season, since I like to mix it up with timeless basics already in stock. This season my list included the rather obvious ones, a blanket cape, a few coat assembles, more chunky knits (can’t get enough), knee high boots (still haven’t found), and high waisted A-line skirts. With the latter as one of my new wardrobe favourites as it’s super versatile and everlasting, you can surely sign me up for leather and velvet versions too.
And the award for the best looking electric toothbrush in town hereby goes to Foreo! I never thought I would add the latter to my wish list but here we go. This stylish toothbrush comes in a travel friendly mini version too in a range of colours, starting from £89-£149 and you’ll find them all here.
Mid October and London temperatures are perfect, just perfect to sport bare legs alongside something that keeps you warm. Better take the opportunity while we can, before we know it it’s time to wrap up head to toe, and the black tights I usually dread so much. However, thanks to lovely 60’d mod inspirations from the Saint Laurent house this season I won’t mind really, now the hunt for the best black tights begins…
Happy Sunday you lovely ones!

If you haven’t yet tired of cosy, long sleeved, chunky turtlenecks, stay in there. I’ll most definitely keep drowning in mine along with the usual basics, no rocket science going on here, keeping things simple and comfortable, with a touch of print. Latest print addition is this bag by Sophie Hulme, the perfect compromise between clean lines, colour and functionality.
Wishing you all a glorious weekend!
I love a denim+slingbacks combo, and these specimen by Dolce & Gabbana might possible find their way to my shoe collection at some point. Not that I would’ve mind any of the other beauties here either, then my Thursday outfit would have been solved!
After coming to terms with summertime sadness blues, fall has officially arrived in London. And like every year it’s not so sad after all as we can finally add those extra layers and bring out new seasons coats, scarves and ponchos. Latest addition in my own outerwear closet is this wool coat by Ganni, a chic, basic, timeless piece that I’ve been looking for a long time having had no intention digging too deep in the pockets.
May the layering begin!

Louis Vuitton ss15, images Style.com
After several weeks of models strutting on SS15 runways, presentations, energy and mood in different cities, either observed closeup or from afar, there’s especially one trend that over shines everything, the references to the 70’s.
From my personal point of view Nicolas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton won the nod to the 70’s with his typical stamp and forward looking eyes. And if there’s something I’ll be sporting very soon may it be high waisted A-line skirts paired with fitted blouses or turtlenecks, shades of brown, and don’t forget to bring the velour out, yum!
Can a girl ever have enough of soft, chunky, cashmere turtle knits?
Judging from what’s dominating my wardrobe shelf in the knit department, apparently not. In my opinion, there’s nothing as cosy and versatile during fall as snuggling up in an oversized knit, preferable in shades of grey. Bags, shoes, come and go, but if there’s one item I find really worth investing in this is it.
Wishing you all a glorious sunny 1’st of October!
